The TV presenter ran into trouble in rehearsals, causing ‘tension’ on set and even saw her threaten to walk off the show
Tension during rehearsals of Celebrity Jeopardy! hit a new level, as one star threatened to walk out after getting questions wrong over and over.
The View host Ana Navarro was warming up on set alongside her other stars actress Yvette Nicole Brown and podcaster David Friedberg. However the talk show panelist, who has appeared on the show before in 2022, struggled with the question format during a practice run of the game, which then saw her grow increasingly frustrated according to an insider at ABC.
The practice run is designed to get the contestants used to the buzzer and the gameshow, before host Ken Jennings joins them for real. Yet for Navarro it proved a struggle as she continued to repeat the same mistake over and over again – frustrating both producers and even the studio audience.

An insider told The U.S. Sun: “Ana had to be reminded at least 10-15 times to answer in the correct format, with “What is…” but Ana still could not get it down. Each time she would mess it up, the producer would bring it up as the way she would answer would not be considered valid.”
The source then revealed Ana was growing frustrated before they added: “At one point, she threw her hands up and said ‘I’m going to just walk off this stage. I cannot get this right.'”
The audience was also reported to be growing frustrtaed with her mistakes as the source continued: “Each time she made the mistake of not saying the question format, the audience would also make a disappointed noise after it happened so many times.”
Navarro, who is known for her political commentary, was also reportedly given more on-on-one feedback by producers who tried to get her up to the standard and format required for the game.

Luckily she was able to grasp it by the time the cameras were rolling, and didn’t appear to mess up or make mistakes during the show itself. Navarro lucked out with a clean sweep on politics and geography and very nearly made it to be crowned as the winner.
However she was pipped to the post by podcaster David who then went into Final Jeopardy! with a larger lead. Navarro gambled on a question but ultimately ended with $0, taking last place behind Yvette and winner David.
Ana chose to play for the Maestro Cares Foundation – co-founded by Marc Anthony to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged children and communities in Latin America and the United States.
