It means their season is over, with the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders progressing from the group.
And owner Jerry Jones will once again have to figure how to pick up the pieces amid disappointment from fans.
However, star man Parsons believes next year truly will be the Cowboys’ time in the spotlight.
The linebacker is remaining hugely optimistic after playing 13 times this term.
He believes the Cowboys will make people eat their words very shortly.
That’s by winning NFL’s biggest prize — the Super Bowl.
He said: “For the people that kept believing, we are not done yet.
“And I hope that you don’t think we’re done yet.
“It’s going to be an amazing, amazing thing to see next year when we’re holding the trophy.
“It’s big goals but I’m telling you right now it’s holding the trophy.
