Nikola Jokic seems to be enjoying his time out in the NBA this season to the fullest. Trying to get his team into the playoffs, the Serbian superstar is giving it his all. And while he is getting rewarded in a splendid manner, Doncic doesn’t seem to be all work and no play. Ahead of their recent game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Nuggets star could be seen fooling around with his opponent.
In a video uploaded on X by an account named ‘Landon Thomas’, Jokic could be seen playing tricks with God Shammgod and Dereck Lively II. Initially, the 3x NBA MVP went up to Lively II and pointed towards the ground. The moment he took the bait, Jokic immediately swooshed his hand in front of his face, leaving him caught off guard. He then repeated the antic with Mavericks’ player development coach, Shammgod. The result? Well, Shammgod got tricked too.
Meanwhile, as the game progressed, it was Nikola Jokic who got on top. Despite dominating most of the game, the Mavericks lost the plot in the fourth quarter. Dropping an impressive 19 points, with 9 assists and 18 rebounds, Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a 112-101 victory. Meanwhile, looking at Jokic’s dominance in the NBA, Kevin Durant cannot help but hail the Serbian.
Kevin Durant Names Nikola Jokic Among NBA Top 10
Nikola Jokic is already a 3x NBA MVP. Carrying on with the positive momentum, the Serbian is once again having a blast. Averaging more than 31 points, Jokic is looking hell-bent on taking the Nuggets to the playoffs. Looking at his antics, Phoenix Suns’ star Kevin Durant heaped praises on the NBA icon.
“They got arguably the best player in the world, a top 10 player of all time in Jokic.” Jokic stated.
However, Jokic will not be much bothered about all the praises coming his way. His sole aim at the moment is to consolidate his team’s position. Thus, trying hard to instill the winning momentum, it remains to be seen how Jokic orchestrates Denver Nuggets’ playoff hopes.
New Orleans Pelicans Stun The NBA By Trading Superstar Brandon Ingram To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

With the New Orleans Pelicans enduring another tremendously disappointing season, star big man Brandon Ingram is another name to follow in the trade rumor mill.
The Pelicans enter Thursday as the worst team in the Western Conference (5-22), with only the Washington Wizards (3-21) displaying an inferior record. It’s clear that a rebuild is necessary in NOLA, and that would start with trading core players like Brandon Ingram and/or Zion Williamson.
Svyatoslav Rovenchuk of Athlon Sports recently proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has New Orleans trading Ingram and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the powerhouse Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and De’Anthony Melton:
“The swap allows the Warriors to add another All-Star caliber player around Curry. Meanwhile, the Pelicans land a worthwhile young prospect and a handful of expiring contracts. One could argue that Golden State would need to add some sort of draft pick compensation too, but given Ingram’s modest value, Kuminga may offer more than enough appeal to not have to do so.”
