How is Fox News host Kat Timpf now? Health update after Childbirth and breast Canc3r battle!

Fox News star Greg Gutfeld‘s longtime late-night co-host Kat Timpf made a triumphant return to the popular show on June 16—four months after revealing that she had been diagnosed with breast cnc3r, just hours before she went into labor with her first child.

The popular “Gutfeld!” host wasted no time in offering viewers a humorous update about her health, excitedly announcing that she is officially “b00b-free” and “cnc3r-free.”

Speaking about her time away from the show, from which she has been absent since February, Timpf, 36, teased that while she didn’t suffer from stretch marks, “I did cut my t-ts off. So I am b00b-free. I am cnc3r-free as well. They got everything. I’m very excited about it.”

The on-air personality, who lives in New York City with her husband, Cameron Friscia, and their newborn son, noted that her cnc3r journey is far from over, revealing that she still has to undergo several reconstructive surgeries.

“It was a hard thing to go through, and it still is,” Timpf, who underwent treatment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on the Upper East Side, shared. “Tough thing to go through, easy decision to make because I didn’t want to risk my life over a couple of 32As.”

Timpf, 36, who lives in New York City with her husband, Cameron Friscia, was diagnosed with breast cnc3r in February—just hours before she gave birth to their first child, a boy.

She joked that although she didn’t get “stretch marks,” she did get her b00bs cut off in a double mastectomy.

Although Timpf insisted that she “loves being a mom,” she admitted that the way doctors discovered her cnc3r diagnosis was “truly insane.”

She revealed that medical experts have not been able to definitively determine whether her cnc3r was linked to her pregnancy—but insisted that she has no regrets either way, because welcoming her son made all of her medical struggles “so worth it.”

Timpf first shared the news of her stage-zero breast cnc3r diagnosis on Feb. 25, telling fans that she would be undergoing a double mastectomy “as soon as possible” after the birth of her son.

She joked that she began meeting with doctors about the best treatment plan just hours after she delivered her baby: “By the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cnc3r out.”

In March, she told fans on Instagram that she had undergone a double mastectomy to treat the cnc3r, sharing an image of her feet hanging off a hospital bed with a gown draped over her.

Despite the severity of the procedure, Timpf retained her sense of humor, joking in the caption: “Post-op! They’re honestly not much smaller than they were before I got pregnant.”

Throughout her recovery—and her maternity leave—the TV star continued to share glimpses of her life on her social media accounts, posting images taken inside the New York City apartment that she shares with Friscia and their new baby boy.

Timpf, who is originally from Detroit, where she still owns a home, moved to the Big Apple in 2014, revealing in a 2024 Instagram post marking her 10th anniversary that she initially lived in an “absolute s—hole” in East Harlem, joking that it was a “ridiculous decision” to move.

Timpf added that she still has reconstructive surgeries to undergo, however, she is on the up and up.

In March, she told fans that she had her breasts removed as part of her cnc3r treatment.

Timpf, who hails from Michigan, moved to the Big Apple 11 years ago. She still holds the keys to a property in her hometown of Detroit.

“10 years ago today I made the ridiculous decision to pack up my things and move into an absolute s—hole (literally, there was often s— in the stairwells of the building for some reason) apartment in East Harlem,” she captioned her post.

“Things are far better for me now than I ever could have imagined back then, but I also never could have imagined some of what I’d have to go through along the way. It’s been a dream, and at times it’s been a nightmare, but I’m just so grateful for this beautifully bizarre life.”

In the accompanying video, which showed her strolling around her lower Manhattan neighborhood, Timpf added: “10 years of me officially living in New York City. And it’s just so remarkable to think about how I’ve been living here for 10 years and I’m still alive. How?

“It’s been great, though,” she concluded.

Indeed, a great deal changed for Timpf in the 10 years that she had been living in the Big Apple, not least her 2020 engagement and 2021 wedding to Friscia, whom she met on the exclusive dating app Raya.

After their wedding, Timpf told People that she had been unsure about whether she really “believed in monogamy at all,” revealing how Friscia changed her perspective on love.

“When I fell in love with Cam, though, I realized how wrong I was [about it] because I felt more free than I ever have in my entire life,” she explained. “Knowing that I have his support and love, I am more fully myself and I am myself more confidently than I ever thought I could be.

“I have less anxiety about things than I used to, too, because I know there is nothing that could ever be a match for the team that we are together. I feel so safe, but I’m also shocked to find that the safety isn’t boring. I am having the time of my life with him.”
