BREAKING NEWS: King Charles makes video statement as Spencer claims rocks Palace
King Charles makes SH0CK video statement as Charles Spencer claims rock Palace

King Charles has delivered a striking new video message as explosive claims about Princess Diana threaten to plunge the Royal Family back into one of its most painful chapters.
The monarch appeared in a newly released video addressing the rapidly developing world of artificial intelligence, speaking about both its extraordinary potential and the serious concerns surrounding its growing influence.
But the timing of the Palace release has attracted attention, coming as Earl Spencer’s forthcoming memoir about his late sister, Princess Diana, continues to generate headlines.
King Charles speaks out on AI
On September 17, King Charles travelled to Dumfries House in Scotland for a major meeting with leading figures from the technology sector, Government representatives and AI experts.
During the event, the monarch delivered a keynote address in which he acknowledged the enormous opportunities presented by artificial intelligence while warning that its rapid development also raises significant concerns.

Charles said:
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I suppose we might readily agree that the development of AI – its substance and its pace – are both intriguing and deeply concerning in equal measure.”
The King went on to highlight the potential benefits of AI, particularly in medicine and the life sciences.
“AI is already showing its immense capacity to improve and save life, for example in the field of life sciences and medicine,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the experts gathered at Dumfries House and stressed the importance of establishing principles to guide the technology’s future development.
“I really am enormously grateful for the presence in this room of many of our greatest technological minds and indeed for the thoughtful stewardship demonstrated by those gathered here today as you consider the fundamental principles that should and must guide the development of AI in the years ahead,” Charles added.
The extraordinary timing
The video was released on social media as attention continued to build around Charles Spencer’s explosive new memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.
The Earl Spencer, Diana’s younger brother and the former brother-in-law of King Charles, has promised a deeply personal account of his sister’s life, marriage and death.
Several excerpts have already generated intense discussion.
Among the most controversial claims is Spencer’s description of Charles’ reaction after Diana’s fatal car crash in Paris in 1997.
According to an excerpt reported by the Daily Mail, Spencer recalled Charles as appearing “giddily elated — like a lottery winner” when discussing the tragic news.
The extraordinary description has inevitably attracted attention given the devastating circumstances surrounding Diana’s death.
However, the account comes from Spencer’s memoir and represents his recollection of events. It has not been independently established as fact.
Another astonishing claim about Charles

Another passage reportedly contains an even more personal allegation.
Spencer recounts something Diana allegedly told him about her then-husband, claiming she believed Charles was “in love with his valet”.
The allegation is particularly sensitive because it touches on deeply personal aspects of the former Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage.
There is no indication from the Palace that King Charles has publicly responded to this specific claim.
Instead, Buckingham Palace has previously addressed another excerpt from Spencer’s memoir concerning an alleged argument over Diana’s funeral.
A Palace spokesperson said: “While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss.”
Palace under pressure as Diana story returns
The latest revelations have placed the Royal Family in an uncomfortable position.
For years, the institution has traditionally avoided responding directly to every allegation or controversy surrounding its members.
Yet Diana remains one of the most emotionally charged subjects in the modern history of the monarchy.
Her death left William and Harry without their mother and permanently shaped the lives of both princes.
Now, almost three decades later, her brother’s memoir is threatening to reopen questions about her marriage, her relationship with Charles and the extraordinary events surrounding her death.
Charles keeps his focus on the future
Despite the renewed controversy, the King’s latest public appearance was focused firmly on the future.
His AI speech dealt with a subject that could affect millions of people, highlighting both the technology’s potential to improve lives and the need for responsible development.
There was no direct reference to Spencer, Diana or the allegations surrounding the memoir during the engagement.
Yet with the Palace simultaneously facing renewed scrutiny over claims contained in Swan Song, Charles’ latest video has inevitably been viewed against the backdrop of the unfolding family drama.
As Spencer’s memoir prepares to reveal more of his memories of Diana, the question now hanging over the Royal Family is whether the most explosive revelations are still to come.
