SH0CK: Princess Eugenie dealt major live TV blow hours after giving birth

Just hours after the birth of her third child, Princess Eugenie was dealt a major blow live on television as royal commentator Kinsey Schofield picked apart the line of succession. Eugenie welcomed her third child and first daughter with husband Jack Brooksbank yesterday (August 4) in Lisbon, Portugal, and GB News host Nana Akua was keen to dissect the news – in particular that her children will not receive HRH titles.
Akua asked Schofield: “Let’s talk about the new baby, how lovely. Do we have a name for the new baby?”, who replied: “We don’t have a name, that’s the big mystery so far. But it is wonderful news for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank – they’ve welcomed their first daughter and their third child. The baby actually joins in the line of succession, but after longstanding royal rules she won’t receive a HRH title, because royal titles are generally passed through the male line, and as you know Jack is a private citizen.
“It’s another reminder that not every grandchild of a monarch automatically becomes a prince or a princess – the rules surrounding royal titles remain surprisingly specific.
“Eugenie and Jack have built a life that’s noticeably more private than many members of the Royal Family, splitting their time between Portugal and the UK while raising their young family largely away from the spotlight.
“With some of the chaos surrounding her father, I can totally understand why. This baby is fifteenth in line to the throne, if you can believe it, and her day-to-day life is expected to be far removed from official royal duties.”
Confused, Akua clarified: “So do her sons get HRH then?”

Schofield replied: “No, because Jack is the father and it’s not one of the male heirs, they don’t have the HRH.
“But Buckingham Palace did make a statement saying the family is delighted, and it reflects what appears to be a genuinely close relationship between Eugenie and King Charles. It’s obviously not personal.
“But we’re going to be watching for the announcement of her name, which is often the most anticipated part of any royal birth.”
