Celebrity Big Brother viewers have accused Ella Rae Wise of using a cunning tactic to win over fans.

During Thursday evening’s instalment of the hit ITV reality show, the housemates were asked to nominate two celebrities each for the next eviction.

One by one, the housemates headed to the Diary Room to share their nominations with Big Brother.

It was later revealed that actress Patsy Palmer, 52, and former Olympian Daley Thompson, 66, would be facing the public vote on Friday evening.

After the announcement was made to the group, several housemates were visibly shocked to hear Daley’s name come up.

TOWIE star Ella, 24, burst into tears, claiming she was upset for the others – not herself.

However, many viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse her of ‘turning on the waterworks’ for the cameras in an attempt to gain more screentime.

One wrote: ‘Ella crying for screen time lol #CBBUK #CBB.’; ‘Does Ella go a day without crying? #cbb’;

‘Ella wondering why she cry’s finding out who’s up for eviction….. want to know why? Air time #CBBUK #cbb.’; ‘CAN ELLA NOT CRY FOR ONE DAY! Didn’t she nominate Patsy anyway? #CBB #CBBUK’

It comes after Celebrity Big Brother revealed that Daley and Patsy will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday evening’s live eviction.

During Thursday’s episode, viewers saw Daley and Patsy receive the most nominations from their fellow housemates.

Daley was nominated by Angellica, Chris, Donna, and Patsy, receiving four nominations in total.

Meanwhile, Patsy received five nominations from Angellica, Chris, Danny, Ella, and JoJo.

Voting for this week’s eviction is now open exclusively via the Big Brother app, with viewers asked to vote for the housemate they want to save from eviction.

Ella breaks down in tears after Daley gets put up for eviction on CBB

The announcement came shortly after Patsy clashed with Ella after she made a shocking confession about a famous married man.

During the episode, the former EastEnders actress and the TOWIE star took part in a heated game of Never Have I Ever.

The game sees the celebrities sit in a circle and reveal something they have never done to the group – anyone who has done said act will have to raise their hand and confess the details.

But after a question was asked about whether they have ‘hooked up with a very famous person’, Ella made a shocking confession, which seemed to upset Patsy.

Sparking the controversial topic, Danny Beard said: ‘Should we do some like, never have I ever hooked up with a really famous person.’

To which Ella responded, ‘Yes, that’s a good one’ but when none of the housemates raise their hands Danny pushed for an answer and questioned, ‘No?’

Ella said: ‘Or never have I ever had a really famous person in my DMs. Oh, I have, mine’s a naughty one cause he’s got a wife.’

But Patsy cut her off and added: ‘No, you better not share that. Don’t share things about people with wives.’

Then she quietly said to Chesney: ‘I hate that kind of thing. It brings it low. Like we’re not scum of the Earth.’

Ella, having overheard Patsy, said to Danny: ‘Why is everyone so serious today?’ To which Danny responded: ‘I don’t know.’

Ella continued: ‘Pats made me feel really bad about saying that. But I didn’t reply to the DM. I didn’t reply to the DM.’

Patsy said: ‘I think it’s sometimes good to flag up ’cause everyone gets carried away.

‘But you do have to be protective of yourself cause you might regret it in the morning. You know how things can go and it’s not nice.’

Ella clarified the situation and responded: ‘Oh no, this was obviously before he was married. He’s married now’.
