The White Lotus fans are only just realising where they’ve seen Greg Hunt star Jon Gries before.
The actor, 67, has portrayed the enigmatic and often mysterious character across all three seasons of the hit HBO drama, making his mark in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand.
While Jon has become synonymous with his role in the hit series, many fans are now recalling his equally as iconic stint in the 2004 cult classic Napoleon Dynamite.
In the film, the star played the unforgettable Uncle Rico, a character who is hopelessly stuck in the past, forever dreaming of what could have been.
Uncle Rico’s outrageous antics and over-the-top claims about his high school football glory made him a beloved figure in the world of comedy.

This time around, however, Greg found himself a new girlfriend in newcomer Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon).
The character’s unexpected return was revealed during a blink-and-you’d-miss-it dinner scene after Chelsea’s (Aimee Lou Wood) character befriends Chloe (played by Le Bon) at the hotel’s restaurant.
During their conversation, Chloe revealed that she and boyfriend Greg have lived in Thailand for one year and they have a house on top of the hill but come to the White Lotus for dinner.
She also remarked that there are plenty of ‘white bald men’ in Thailand, stating the locals call them ‘LBHs’ – losers back home.
His return came as a shock to many as Natasha Rothwell’s Belinda had been the only cast member confirmed to be reprising their roles.
Greg made his debut in the first season of The White Lotus, which was set in Maui.
There, he met Tanya and the pair struck up a romance at the resort, where she visited after inheriting a fortune from her late mother.
He and Tanya left the Maui White Lotus as a couple and later returned in the show’s second season as a married couple.

White Lotus season three promises plenty of drama
During the series, Greg had to return to Denver for work, leaving Tanya to stay in Sicily where she was entertained by Quentin (Tom Hollander).
In the finale, Tanya found a photo of a younger Greg and Quentin as she learned that Quentin and his gay associates were trying to kill her.
Before he left, Greg mentioned that he can’t quit his job because Tanya made him sign a prenup to protect her seemingly vast wealth.
While it’s never fully confirmed that Greg had anything to do with this plot to kill Tanya, many believe he wanted to kill her off to get his hands on her fortune.
Tanya hilariously managed to survive the assassination attempt before dying after slipping off the boat and banging her head on a railing.
