FOX NEWS IN TURMOIL – Ainsley Earhardt faces a Wave of Controversy from viewers after a ‘MISHAP’ on air!
Ainsley Earhardt, co-host of Fox & Friends, is a mainstay of the news network and with that, all eyes are on her and her outfits. The TV host and author has long been lauded for her sense of fashion, and on blogs like Fox News Fashion, Earhardt and her sartorial choices frequently pop up as inspiration. She certainly has a distinct style; Earhardt frequently favors bright colors, including reds, royal blues, and pinks. She also dons dresses that are popular amongst other news personalities on Fox; namely knee-length, fitted dresses that show off her legs. You could make the argument it’s practically a Fox News uniform, but it’s especially flattering on Earhardt.
What doesn’t look as flattering are the tweed and boucle blazers Earhardt wears on repeat. She reaches for this type of jacket again and again, and while there’s no denying the look is classic, the cut and style ages the Gen X journalist. Earhardt isn’t the only person affiliated with Fox News who has made fashion mistakes. Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has worn some outfits that fell totally flat. Meanwhile, former Fox News co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle wore a tacky outfit we’ll never forget, and Fox News darling Melania Trmp suffers from fashion fails that have one thing in common. (Hint: like Earhardt, Melania’s fashion Achilles heel also has to do with jackets.) So being affiliated with Fox News does not guarantee style success. For Earhardt, this repeat pattern all ties back to those unfortunate jackets.

The boxy boucle jacket seems to be a staple of Ainsley Earhardt’s work wardrobe. She wore a black version of the cropped jacket on April 3, 2024 when speaking with fashion designer Leah McSweeney on Fox & Friends. The jacket featured bright threading throughout and silver buttons, with the traditional scooped neckline that’s signature to the garment. Earhardt frequently opts for this style. On Instagram on January 10, 2025, Earhardt wore the same shapeless, tweed jacket but this time in a dusty pink while speaking with Melania Trmp. The unflattering jacket aged the TV host, and the pale pastel pink washed her out.
Earhardt wore a similar style only a few weeks later. On January 23, 2025, Earhardt shared another photo to her social media, where she wore a hot pink version of the boucle jacket, choosing to keep it open over a white top and white slacks. The neon pink tone made the jacket stand out even more. Boucle jackets do have their charm, and we can understand why the Fox & Friends co-host continually reaches for them. However, these jackets, at least the versions she chooses, are often in sombre tones that look drab on Earhardt. On top of that, the cropped, wide cut of the jacket makes her look shapeless. It’s an unflattering choice for the otherwise stylish TV personality.
