Meghan Markle has shared a tribute to Prince Harry following his appearance at the WellChild awards on Monday. The 42-year-old stepped out for his annual appearance at the awards, which were held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The Duke of Sussex has been a patron of the charity for 18 years, with the patronage beginning when he was still a senior working royal. Meghan has previously attended the event with her husband, although she decided to give yesterday’s a miss.
The 45-year-old was likely at home with their two children, with the family of four having returned to the UK last month.
The post, which shared a video from Harry’s appearance yesterday, featured clips of Harry with many of the attendees.
Meghan chose Sam Garrett’s “I Believe” as the song for her post.
She didn’t include any words in the post, just the song lyrics coming up on the screen.
Harry fought back tears during his appearance on stage at the awards, delivering a speech at the end of the ceremony,

The royal became emotional as he delivered his speech, acknowledging the efforts of parents and praising young people for living their lives to the full despite their circumstances, saying: “To all the mums and dads – most of us will never truly know the emotional ups and downs of your day.”
Ahead of the ceremony, Harry met the winners, where he signed a miniature figure of himself and was given several housewarming gifts.
Meghan and Harry are thought to be residing in the Cotswolds with Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
