Ginger Zee surprised Good Morning America viewers on Thursday, September 12, when she debuted a brand-new haircut—and fans are loving the bold look.
The meteorologist’s formerly long, wavy locks were gone for the broadcast, where she showed off a straight, chin-length bob. The official GMA Instagram account shared a pic of her glamorous ‘do with the caption, “@ginger_zee new haircut appreciation post 😍😍😍.”

Commenters were quick to approve, calling Zee’s hair “fabulous.”
“It is soooo cute!! I love it!! ❤️,” gushed one fan, while another person pointed out that “Ginger is adorable no matter what hair style she has.”
Zee shared footage of her hair transformation process on her own Instagram with a video that started with the TV host sitting in a stylist’s chair with a head full of foils and ended with her modeling the updated cut.

This isn’t the first time Zee has caused a stir by changing her hair. In February of 2023, the mom-of-two experimented with bangs after a brief GMA absence due to a bout with the flu, sharing a pic in a post on Facebook.
“I’m calling them ‘flu bangs’ — because I’m so grateful I survived,” Zee captioned her post. “Life is short, cut bangs. also, I may or may not have watched all 3 seasons of Emily in Paris when I was sick & had a little Lily Collins inspiration— no trauma here, just flu.”
“Stinking adorable on you!!! Glad you are feeling better. You are an inspiration, truly,” wrote one fan.
