Prince Harry made a surprise solo appearance at the Time100 Sports Gala in New York City on Thursday night – with the royal overheard sharing a major update from his recent visit to the UK. As well as attending various events for the Invictus Games, the 41-year-old was later joined in Britain by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on July 10.
The Sussex family, who are now said to be “happy” to be back in the US, made a trip to visit King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House last Friday. The King, who is known to be a doting grandfather to Prince William’s three children, had previously not seen his two youngest grandchildren since 2022.

An insider has now told Page Six that Harry was overheard telling guests at the Gala this week that the King is “doing great”. This comment comes two years after the 77-year-old shared that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.
He was also heard talking about his children, telling guests: “The kids are growing like weeds”.
During his twenties, the now-62-year-old previously dated West End star Ruthie Henshall for five years – with Ruthie having recently spoke out about her former royal partner.

The broadcaster, who has long been one of the couple’s most vocal critics, made the remarks during an interview with Woman & Home, questioning why the Sussexes post photographs of their children despite repeatedly speaking about the dangers of social media.

It was revealed earlier this year, during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Australian tour, that Meghan had attended filming for the popular cooking show.
