HEARTBREAKING: Former Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto’s Health Struggles leave fans Deeply Moved!

Fox News mainstay Neil Cavuto is leaving the network after 28 years. Cavuto will announce his departure on Thursday towards the end of his 4 p.m. newscast, Your World with Neil Cavuto.
A Fox News spokesperson confirmed Cavuto’s exit to TVNewser. “Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism, and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with Fox News Media,” the network said in a statement. “His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best in his next chapter.”
According to a source at the network, Cavuto was offered a new contract, but decided not to accept. When asked if the new contract offered lower terms, the source declined to comment.
Cavuto wore many hats during his tenure at Fox News Media, including senior vice president, anchor, and managing editor of business news for both Fox News and Fox Business Network. His departure, which was first announced by Mediatite, creates many programming holes for both networks. In addition to Your World, Cavuto also anchored Fox Business’ Cavuto Coast to Coast on weekdays from noon-1 p.m and Fox News’ Cavuto Live on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
A network source indicated that a new programming slate will be announced in January. In the meantime, rotating anchors will helm Cavuto’s former shows, with Coast to Coast becoming Fox Business Live and Cauto Live being rebranded as Fox News Live.
Over the years, Cavuto has suffered several ailments that have occasionally kept him off the air, including a 1997 diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and a 2016 heart surgery. In 2022, he was away for six weeks after being hospitalized with “Cvd pneumonia.” Upon his return, Cavuto—who is also immunocompromised—indicated that his condition landed him in intensive care.
