TV presenter Josie Gibson has showed off her new look after getting some tweaks – but fans have been left divided.

The 40-year-old star took to Instagram to show off the results of recent cosmetic ‘tweakments’ she’s undergone at a celebrity-loved cosmetic clinic. And while a lot of fans were supportive, a few felt that Josie didn’t need to do anything to her appearance.

Josie Gibson undergoes ‘tweakments’

Sharing snaps on Instagram, Josie revealed she was on her way to a celebrity event and had got her makeup done by makeup artist Melissa J. The same post confirmed Josie had enjoyed some “tweaks” by Dr Nora.

Dr Nora runs the Rejuvenation Clinic in London, alongside former Love Island star Rykard Jenkins.

In the photos Josie looked stunning, dressed in a blue cross-over dress that highlighted her eyes, with her hair tied back to have her face at the centre of attention. The close-up pictures showcased Josie’s brand-new look – although neither Josie nor Dr Nora confirmed what tweaks Josie had actually had done.

In another post shared by Dr Nora and Josie on Instagram, it displayed a series of pics from the day of the procedures.

The caption read: “Can’t tell which one the comedian is. Always the best time having you in clinic. Summer ready!”

Josie faces backlash over appearance

Taking to the comments of the post, some fans warned Josie that she doesn’t need to do anything else to her appearance, believing she was naturally pretty without the tweaks.

One fan wrote: “You are more beautiful than this without all that makeup. It looks great but your natural beauty shines without it.”

Another warned: “Try not to give in to all of the filters and fillers because that’s why people love you. You are a naturally, lovely, happy and beautiful person. Try not to go down that route of faking it and putting that pressure on everyone else.”

A third added: “Josie, you look and are lovely. But you really don’t need all of this makeup. What is going on with your lips?”

“Keep it natural Josie. You don’t need all that. You are beautiful without it” another commented.

However, many fans and celeb pals rushed to tell the star just how amazing she looked, defending the star from the negativity.

This Morning co-host Alison Hammond commented: “Stunning,” with a fire emoji.

Lisa Snowdon added: “Gorgeous Josie!” alongside a series of blue hearts.

“As if Josie could look any more stunning,” a third fan penned.

“You look absolutely gorgeous as always, Josie,” another commented.
