‘My new adventure begins!’ – GMA’s ‘Weather Queen’ Ginger Zee stirs fans? Could she be Planning to Leave GMA? What’s the Truth behind it?
Good Morning America‘s meteorologist Ginger Zee is expecting her first child with husband Ben Aaron, she announced on the ABC morning show on Monday.
The show teased her news as her latest “extreme adventure.” GMA then aired a video of the many dangerous things she’s done for the show, including paragliding with a hawk on one hand, reporting from an active volcano, rappelling down the side of a building, swimming with sharks, skydiving and NASCAR racing.
But now, she says in the video, she’s “getting ready for my most extreme adventure yet” as GMA aired a still of her sonogram and a photo of a positive pregnancy test.
“That’s two lines, baby,” she said of the test. “I’m pregnant.”
Zee, who was congratulated by her GMA colleagues, went on to say that the “forecast for delivery is in December.”
And even with all of her death-defying stunts, Zee joked that she’s “nervous” and “scared” about motherhood.
“This is the most nervous I’ve been in a long time,” she said, laughing. “I’ll do anything, but this scares me.”
Zee also tweeted a photo of her sonogram and one with GMA co-hosts Lara Spencer and Amy Robach, with all three pointing to Zee’s uterus.
