Sara Haines Slips Up Again on The View – Show Mutes Audio Immediately

10 Little-Known Facts About “The View”

Sara Haines Gets Censored on ‘The Weekend View’ During Lighthearted Aging Secrets Segment

Weekend energy was in full swing on the latest episode of The Weekend View, and co-host Sara Haines gave her fellow panelists — and viewers — quite the surprise when she accidentally let a censored word slip during a playful discussion.

The moment unfolded during a chat about keeping secrets and growing older, with co-host Ana Navarro joking:
“I tell my best friend everything. My biggest fear is that one of us gets dementia and starts blabbing.”

Joy Behar quipped back, “They won’t remember!”, while Ana noted, “Yeah, but they start saying things from the past randomly!”

That’s when Haines chimed in with: “They also make s—” — but before she could finish, the camera quickly cut away, and audio was muted. When visuals returned, Ana jokingly added:
“No, I will smother him with a pillow,” drawing laughs from the panel. Alyssa Farah Griffin mock-scolded Haines with:
“You can’t say that!”

Sara quickly covered her mouth, muttering, “Oops, excuse me,” while Joy reassured her, “That’s alright.” The show then moved on without skipping a beat.

It wasn’t Sara’s first on-air slip. Back in February, she unintentionally used a profanity during the live broadcast, stunning Whoopi Goldberg and causing producer Brian Teta to freeze with a blank stare — a moment that became a viral clip among fans.

Currently, The View is on its summer break and will return for Season 29 in September, airing weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
