Fans Heartbroken Over Michael Strahan’s Cryptic Post: ‘Could This Be a Goodbye to GMA?’
Michael Strahan doesn’t often cause chaos online, but a photo he shared on Instagram accidentally left a few people upset.

On July 18, the Good Morning America news anchor posted an image of himself looking sharp in a navy check suit. As it turns out, the former NFL star had noticed a coincidence surrounding the upcoming New Year’s calendar date, which appeared to repeat numbers. He decided to share his findings with a message that read: “When you realize New Year’s Eve this year is … 123123.”
But it didn’t stop there. He used emojis to display his disbelief as well. “🤯🤯🤯,” he captioned the photo.

After fans spotted his picture on Instagram, many expressed how much they loved the happenstance. While some laughed over Michael’s combination of his facial expression and note, there were others who feared the picture meant something else entirely.

‘Good Morning America’
“Don’t [scare] me like that Michael! I thought this was an RIP post 😩,” one person wrote in the comments section. “Same. I did a double take,” another replied. “😂 Mike will live forever!!! Go Birds 🦅 but Mike is a beast in his day. Mad respect,” a different follower chimed in.
While Michael didn’t respond to his fanbase’s concern for him, he did give a clue at other things he’s working on ahead of New Year’s. Two days later, the TV personality added a series of photos on Instagram that showed him promoting his Michael Strahan Brand custom-made suits sold at Men’s Wearhouse.
If that wasn’t enough, Michael also reminded viewers that he’s back on primetime this summer for the latest episodes of $100,000 Pyramid. What’s more, he’s also keeping up with his daily daytime gig. He uploaded a video montage featuring moments of him on the air with his fellow co-hosts on Good Morning America.
Although he didn’t mean to give his fans a frightful scare, thankfully Michael is all well and online!
