Fox News announced a slew of programming changes on Monday, led by the news that Will Cain will be taking over the weekday 4 p.m. ET slot recently vacated by Neil Cavuto. (All times Eastern)
Per Fox, The Will Cain Show will debut on Tuesday, Jan. 21—the day after President Donald Tr::ump’s inauguration. Cain plans to bring his podcast style to analysis of big news events and interviews with notable figures from the worlds of politics, business, culture, and sports.
“Will Cain brings years of experience to the 4 p.m. hour as an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement. “We look forward to adding his insights to what will no doubt be another historic news cycle ahead this year.”

In his own statement, Cain said: “It has been an honor to wake up with America these past four years, and I am thrilled to apply my background in news, law, entertainment, and business to help our viewers better understand the headlines through thought-provoking content and analysis every weekday afternoon.”
Fox News’ audio listeners and its digital audience will be familiar with The Will Cain Show as it has been one of the audio network’s top performers, airing every Monday to Thursday at noon. Cain joined Fox News in 2020 and was also a co-host on Fox & Friends Weekend with Rachel Campos-Duffy.
Staring Jan. 18, Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt will take over from Cain on Fox & Friends Weekend. Hurt currently serves as the opinion editor of The Washington Times and will relinquish that position upon the start of his new role.

Other programming changes taking place on Jan. 18 include The Big Weekend Show’s expansion to two hours, airing from 6-8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundasy. The Fox Report with Jon Scott will move to 3 p.m. and air for two hours on both of those days. Fox News Live will continue airing from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays featuring a rotating substitute anchor until a permanent replacement is named. The one-hour Journal Editorial Report will move to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Over on Fox Business, Dagen McDowell joins The Big Money Show, which also expands to two hours from Noon to 2 p.m. starting Jan. 27. She joins co-hosts Taylor Riggs, Jackie DeAngelis, and Brian Brenberg.
