The 36-year-old reporter revealed on Feb. 25 that she learned of the diagnosis just hours before giving birth to her baby boy the previous week, saying the “best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible.”
On Thursday, she took to social media to share an update following that operation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Josie Robertson Surgery Center in New York City.
In a photo showing her resting in a hospital bed, she’s clad in a surgery gown with her feet showing and the word “censored” written across her toes.

“Post-op! They’re honestly not much smaller than they were before I got pregnant,” she jokingly captioned the shot.
Fellow Fox personalities like Greg Gutfeld rushed to the comments to share their words of support. On her Instagram Story, Timpf also posted a photo of a cake sent to her by “The Five” co-host Jessica Tarlov, with the phrase “titty-free and fabulous” scrawled on the top in icing.
In her post announcing her diagnosis, the Detroit native said her cancer was at stage 0 and that doctors were “confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread.” She also confirmed her baby boy was delivered safely and credited her pregnancy for helping detect her cancer early.
“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she wrote. “I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.”
Timpf shares her son with her husband, Cameron Friscia, a military vet and investment banker whom she married in 2021.
