“We wish we could have taken Sajjad’s place” – Parents of 8-year-old angel Nuria Sajjad OPEN UP about tragedy that left Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard speechless, and viewers in Tears!
Cat Deeley appeared emotional and teary-eyed on Thursday’s This Morning during an interview with the parents of a child who was kl in a car collision outside of her school.
Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau, both eight, were kl outside of their primary school in Wimbledon after a car crshed into them. Nuria’s parents Sajjad Butt and Smera Chohan joined Cat and Ben Shephard to speak about the acc1dent and their precious little girl.
As they spoke of their devastating grief, Cat, 47, struggled to hold back the tears as she looked on pensively while the heartbroken parents fought through their sadness.
Viewers were also left in tears while watching the devastating interview and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
One person expressed: “F**k, I’d never thought I’d be in a flood of tears this morning. These parents deserve justice more than anything else, they really do. #ThisMorning (sic)

Somebody else penned: “#ThisMorning This interview is heartbreaking. I hope they and all the other families find justice for their daughters. Stay strong!”
Yet another wrote: “I think that’s one of the toughest interviews I’ve watched in a few years #ThisMorning.”
A fifth ITV viewer said: “This is so powerful and moving. My heart goes out to these parents. #ThisMorning.”

Ben, 49, attempted to console the parents as he said: “She was, and the briefest I’ve heard of Nuria, she was a very special and magical little girl and brought so much joy for all of you.”
