The 1% Club’s Lee Mack stunned contestants after he revealed his real name in the middle of an episode of the ITV programme.
TV presenter Lee, 56, who has presented the quiz show since 2022, shot to fame in the 90s and has been a huge name in the industry over the past 30 years.
But the comedian shocked fans when he made a secret revelation that Mack isn’t actually his real surname.
In an episode that originally broadcast last May and was recently repeated, the telly favourite opened up when one of the player’s revealed their own surname.
A contestant on the third series of the programme explained that their surname was McKillop, and Lee went on to confess that that was his own moniker too.
The revelation left the live audience and players lost for words.

After 30 seconds, presenter Lee commented: ‘We lost 12 on that one, lets have a look at the answer.’
The correct answer was ‘3210’.
However, despite it being one of the final few questions of the game, some fans were surprised by how many got it wrong and thought it was ‘easy’.
Many viewers took to X and posted: ‘3210 How is this a 30% question #The1PercentClub.’
‘Quite easy…’ another commented.
While someone else penned: ‘How did 12 go out???? It’s 3210 #the1percentclub.’;
‘#The1PercentClub The calculator question seems suspiciously easy.’
