Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson have announced on Instagram on Monday that they have welcomed their first child together.

The Gossip Girl actor, 37, and the model, 33, looked on cloud nine as they introduced their baby boy to the world by sharing a number of sweet black and white photos.

Amy was seen cradling the newborn while Ed placed a caring hand on the little boy and kissed his wife’s cheek as they posed for photos in a field.

The happy couple also revealed their bundle of joys sweet name and shared a close up photo holding his tiny hand.

Amy looked stunning in a white jumper dress as she kissed the newborns head in another adorable snap.

They wrote: ‘Welcome to the world, baby boy. Oscar Alexander Westwick’

Amy is already a proud mother to son Andreas, five, whom she shares with her former partner, hotelier George Panayiotou.

Amy recently showed off her growing baby bump last month as she cosied up to Ed at the British Asian Trust annual gala dinner at the Peninsula London.

She showed off her bump in a stunning gold sequin gown which boasted a plunging neckline and long sleeves.

In November, Amy shared a heartwarming insight into their baby’s ultrasound scan in London.

Amy, who ‘absolutely cannot wait for baby Westwick,’ gave fans a sneak peek into their day to day lives as they prepared to welcome the new addition to their family.

The model captioned the clip, which was posted to her 445,000 TikTok followers, with: ‘Literally the best day ever #babys #pasta & a whole lotta #LOVE’.

In a voiceover, Amy said: ”Come and spend the day with us – baby scan edition. Alright, we started the day, Ed made breakfast.

‘I love my eggs in the morning, today was a runny egg kind of situation and he makes them so well. Then we headed to the gym, blasted For You of course. They’re playing some gigs this weekend.’

She then slipped into workout gear and continued: ‘Then I like to get 6k minimum in on the treadmill, have a little perv on Ed whilst I’m at it.

‘And then I finish the workout with some stretches, but today I got a little bit distracted.

‘We had our protein shakes and then we drove into London and we’re about to meet our doctor and see our baba again. We’re so excited.’

Amy included adorable clips of the couple cosied up and linking arms as they made their way to the clinic together.

She went on to film Ed’s name on the paperwork next to ‘husband’ and joked that she wasn’t used to seeing that title.

Finally, she shared a glimpse into their ultrasound scan as Amy looked at the screen in awe of their baby, with Ed standing eagerly at the bottom of the bed.

‘There he is! Smiling, aww,’ gushed Amy as she showcased the sonogram image.

The pair have been together since 2021 after they were introduced by a mutual friend at an Aston Martin event in the UK – and tied the knot in August last year.

The couple became husband and wife after saying ‘I do’ in a stunning ceremony in Italy surrounded by their family and friends.

For her big day, Amy wore a sweeping white satin gown with a flattering strapless neckline and full princess-style skirt, teamed with a long veil with intricate lace detailing.

While Ed cut a dashing figure in a cream blazer and black trousers, teamed with a white button-up shirt and a bow tie.

The actor took to his Instagram to announce they had tied the knot and shared glimpses into their nuptials at the Castello di Rocca Cilento.

Captioning the gorgeous snaps, Ed gushed: ‘The journey has just begun’ followed by a ring emoji.

Ed got down on one knee during a trip to the Swiss Alps in January this year and asked the mother-of-one to be his wife in front of a crowd of onlookers

Ed first met Amy at Silverstone racetrack in 2021, with a source telling The Sun on Sunday at the time: ‘Ed and Amy are a really good match. They hit it off straight away.

‘Both like to have fun and are career-driven. They’re enjoying getting to know each other for now.’

The couple went Instagram official just before Valentine’s Day in 2022, with Amy penning a sweet note on her social media just in time for the occasion.

She wrote: ‘Happy Valentine’s Baby – forever grateful for the endless belly laughs and ultimate love!’
