Loose Women’s Kaye Adams has marked the end of the show for a few weeks. The Scottish presenter returned to the ITV daytime programme on Friday, with GK Barry, Oti Mabuse and Kelle Bryan. As well as celebrating the last show of the week, moments before the programme came to an end, Kaye confirmed Loose Women would not be returning for several weeks.
After a segment on schools and teachers, Kaye said: “That’s the bell for the end of term, for us as well, we’re done for the summer. We will not be gone for long though, we’ll be back in September. For now, have a fabulous weekend, a fabulous summer and we’ll see you very soon!”

The shake-up comes after a series of budget cuts which affected Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, as well as Loose Women.
It was announced months ago that Loose Women would now only be airing for 30 weeks instead of its usual 52.
Amid the changes, Lorraine Kelly’s programme has been cut to half an hour, and also only runs on a seasonal basis.

It had also been reported that Loose Women presenters could have been affected, though sources later claimed there were no plans for any ‘radical changes’ in the line-up.

An ITV source previously told The Mirror: “We are not planning any radical changes to the panel. All of our Loose Women are hugely valued and we celebrate each and every one and the experience and opinions they bring to the show every day.
“Many of our long standing panellists have appeared on the show for the majority of its 25 year run on screens and those stalwart, Loose legends are at the core of the show’s success and hugely popular with the audience.
“The show remains a big priority within our daytime slate, having secured a BAFTA nomination, launched a podcast and celebrated a milestone anniversary in the last year alone.”
