Lawrence Jones Officially Joins the ‘Fox & Friends’ Weekday Lineup
Fox News Channel has officially announced that Lawrence Jones will become a permanent co-host of its flagship morning program Fox & Friends. The news was shared during the Thursday morning broadcast, confirming that starting Monday, September 18, Jones will join Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade live from 6 to 9 a.m. on weekdays.
At just 30 years old, Jones becomes the youngest Black co-host in cable news history. He has been a familiar face on the network through Lawrence Jones Cross Country, his weekend show that featured him traveling the U.S. to speak with key figures in news and culture. That show will now be replaced by One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, according to the network.
In addition to his new role on the couch, Jones will continue serving as the show’s enterprise reporter, highlighting stories that reflect the concerns and perspectives of local communities across America.
Gavin Hadden, Fox News’ senior vice president of morning programming, stated: “Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America, and his insight has proved invaluable to the Fox & Friends audience. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team as he helps wake up America every morning.”
