Despite the modest scale, sources describe the ceremony as “beautiful and incredibly emotional”, coming after months marked by serious health scares, uncertainty and fear.

Alice looked radiant in a plunging ivory gown, carefully chosen to accommodate her seven-month baby bump, after previously admitting she endured an “absolute nightmare” trying to find a dress that fit comfortably. She completed the look with a full-length veil featuring a dramatic train.

Sam, meanwhile, cut a striking figure in a white tuxedo with black bowtie, finishing the look with a red boutonnière as he held his new wife’s hand throughout the ceremony.

An insider told the Daily Mail:
“The wedding was small, intimate and incredibly special. They see it as the real beginning of their marriage — not the party.”

    The source added:
“Sam promised Alice from the moment they met that life would never be boring with him. He’s certainly kept that promise.”

Speaking candidly on the We Need To Talk podcast with Paul C Brunson, Sam recalled the terrifying moment he learned he would need a liver transplant — a revelation that came shortly after discovering Alice was pregnant.

“I got a notification on the NHS app,” he said.
“I opened the letter and it was four lines long. It said I needed to attend a liver transplant assessment. I think your heart stops.”

Asked what ran through his mind, Sam admitted through tears:
“Fear. Pure fear. Am I going to die?”

His thoughts immediately turned to his unborn child — and to his late father, Mark Vanderpump, who died in 2018.

“My dad will never meet his grandchild. Then you ask yourself — am I going to see my child?” he said.
    “That’s terrifying.”

Since going public with his diagnosis, Sam has used his platform to raise awareness about sepsis symptoms and the urgent need for organ donors, though he admitted the media attention took a heavy emotional toll.

“Every headline said ‘four or five years left to live’ — and that’s not true,” he explained.
    “That broke me.”

He revealed that the pressure led to a breakdown in recent weeks — until his famous aunt Lisa Vanderpump, 65, urged him to stay strong for Alice and their baby.

“She gave me the kick up the backside I needed,” Sam said.
“She reminded me why I’m doing this.”

The couple have already chosen a meaningful name for their son: Marmaduke, nicknamed Duke — a tribute to Sam’s late father.

Despite the fear and uncertainty, Sam remains hopeful.
“Liver transplants are extremely successful,” he said.
“I’m going to be here for my son. I know that.”

Viewers were left concerned as an “unwell” Donald T.r.ump took to the stage in front of thousands and fumed: “They said I had passed away!” While addressing members of the public at a recent rally, the US president confronted rumours that he had died while taking a break from the Oval Office, making a bombshell statement about his health which was broadcast on live TV.

Addressing his absence earlier this year, Trump said at the podium: “In fact, I took a day off, they said, ‘Something’s wrong with the president!’ I said, ‘Guys, there’s nothing wrong with me’.” He insisted the public repeatedly said: “Something’s wrong, what’s wrong with the president?” before fuming: “Every time!”

Trump continued: “Remember when I had 28 news conferences in a row over 28 days? Sometimes I gave two or three in one day, and then I took my beautiful Kai, my beautiful granddaughter, to play golf one morning.

“I was in the office very quickly – ‘something’s wrong with the president!’ Do you remember, the rumour was that I had passed away! Do you remember that?

“I went 28 days in a row, I took the kid to play golf, and we played very fast. She’s good and I’m a very good golfer. We play very fast, we play in two hours. Then I said, ‘Baby, I gotta get out of here, I’m sorry honey, enjoy your day, go hit balls or something, I gotta get out of here and go to work’.

“And I got a call from someone going, ‘Oh, you’re okay!’ I said, ‘Yeah, what’s wrong? I’ll be back in the Oval Office in 30 minutes.’ Then I got another call [saying the same thing].

“They said that I had passed away, do you remember that? First day in 28 days. These people are sick.

“That’s why I’ve taken more physicals, because I think you have an obligation to report, and I hate when they put out false reports. I did something no other president has ever done, I took cognitive tests.”

However, his speech didn’t dissuade the public from worrying, because as recently as this morning (December 26), the GB News panel insisted Trump is “not well”. Guest Jonathan Lis said on the show: “This is not a man who is well. This is not a well man, by any stretch of the imagination,” when discussing one of the president’s rants on Truth Social

The 26-year-old TikTok sensation, joined by pro partner Alexis Warr, was overcome when shown heartfelt messages of support from his family during the show on Friday evening. Unable to continue, George wiped away tears and apologised, admitting: “Sorry… this is awful of me,” as he reflected on the journey that has brought him to the verge of the Glitterball Trophy.

It’s all too easy to see why Strictly bosses hope that privately-educated George’s popularity with savvy online youngsters may revitalise what has become an increasingly toxic and tired television brandIt’s all too easy to see why Strictly bosses hope that privately-educated George’s popularity with savvy online youngsters may revitalise what has become an increasingly toxic and tired television brand

George explained that he’d tried not to think about the final in order to stay present, saying the experience has already given him “imposter syndrome,” but also acknowledging how difficult the aftermath of the competition may feel once the whirlwind ends.

Fans watching at home were visibly moved, taking to social media to share their own tears and praise his humility and vulnerability. Messages poured in: “I’m emotional for George,” “Don’t cry, you’ll set me off,” and “He is so loved.”

Despite being a strong favourite among the public, bookmakers currently place him behind Karen Carney in the odds. But George’s journey has resonated far deeper than scores or rankings — driven not by fame, but by love and a desperate desire to make his mother proud.

In week eight, his emotional rhumba dedicated to his mum Nicky — who is bravely battling breast cancer — earned widespread admiration. The routine, described as a “love letter,” left both George and his family in tears and marked the moment when the wider Strictly audience embraced him.

George spoke candidly about his mother’s diagnosis, admitting that she has endured more than most: “Nobody deserves what she has gone through, least of all her.” Her illness now dominates family life, and George has been open about how the news has affected him.

The YouTuber, known for his massive online following — 2.4 million TikTok fans, nearly a million across Instagram and YouTube — has captured attention beyond his digital audience. Strictly bosses reportedly hope his popularity with younger viewers may breathe new life into the long-running show.

Unlike his rivals, George has no professional dance background. Friends say the only dancing he ever did before Strictly was at university socials, making his progress even more remarkable. Meanwhile, fellow finalists Amber Davies and Karen Carney have sparked debate due to their extensive dance experience.

George’s journey is also tied to a quieter family story. His mother’s resilience isn’t new — she previously battled encephalitis when he was 16, leaving George traumatised after witnessing her seizure. Yet he describes her as selfless and strong, apologising to the family even after her recovery.

Supporting him from the audience is his girlfriend, model Yasmin Bennett, credited by George as believing in him “more than I did.” His upbringing in Bristol, private education, and university degree paint a picture of a grounded young man who chose effort over shortcuts — despite his father’s senior role at Aardman Animations.

Amber Davies, meanwhile, has faced backlash from viewers because of her stage background and will not participate in the Strictly tour due to prior commitments to the musical Legally Blonde.

George’s growing public profile, however, seems set to extend beyond Strictly, with new TV opportunities reportedly emerging. Insiders say he may be on the verge of becoming a breakout star — not just online, but across mainstream media.

And should he lift the Glitterball Trophy tonight, no supporter will be cheering louder than his mother — the woman whose courage inspired his every step on the Strictly dancefloor.

SH0CK: Brutal Truth Behind Ant And Dec’s Fiery Feud Revealed As Explosive Clash Sparked Fears Britain’s Favourite TV Duo Could Split

Ant and Dec have been one of the most recognisable duos in TV for decades.

Few TV partnerships have stood the test of time like Ant and Dec. The duo have dominated British television for decades, first rising to fame as PJ and Duncan on Byker Grove in the 1990s. Since then, they have gone on to dominate prime-time television, collecting countless accolades such as National Television Awards and BAFTAs. Now a staple on British TV, it’s hard to imagine life without some of Ant and Dec’s shows including I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent.

However, their joint career almost came to an abrupt end before it even officially got started. The duo recalled a time when things “got ugly” during a boozy night in Spain back in 1995. Writing in their book, Once Upon a Tyne: Our Story, Ant and Dec recalled their huge row happened ahead of their appearance on GMTV’s Fun in the Sun with Anthea Turner

Ant wrote: “It was a special summer holiday version of the ITV breakfast show, in 1995, we were promoting Stuck On U. Our tour manager Kim Glover told us we had the day to ourselves before appearing on GMTV the following morning… so we went to the pub.”

They ended up having a few too many drinks while out, with Dec hoping to call it a night at 10pm due to their early start the next morning.

However, Ant had no intention of going home, asking Dec: “What the hell are you going to bed for?”

Ant admitted that seeing Dec stumble towards the lift left him “incensed,” adding that he “lost it”.

He demanded: “Don’t you dare walk away from me when I’m talking to you.” Dec then began “ranting” at Ant, asking, “Who the hell does he think he is, talking to me like that?”

The presenter recalled how his Ant was “really pushing my buttons” as they argued in the lift.

When Ant tried to make his point, Dec put his fingers in his ears and said, “La la la la, I can’t hear you.” Things then turned physical between the pair, with Ant recalling that he “punched Dec in the chest” after his childish antics made his “blood boil”.

Dec admitted that he tried to knock the cap off Ant’s head but ended up just punching the peak of his cap.

Ant added: “I proved Dec is rubbish at fighting when he’s had a few.”

They appeared on the breakfast show just a few hours later, refusing to make eye contact. But everything changed once the cameras started rolling, and the pair insisted they have not argued since that drunken incident decades ago.

The outgoing Strictly host was glowing with pride as she posed outside Windsor Castle this week after being awarded an MBE by King Charles, marking one of the most significant milestones of her career.

The honour comes at a poignant moment for Tess, who has confirmed she will step away from Strictly Come Dancing after 21 years at the helm, bowing out following this year’s Christmas special.

‘I’m still pinching myself’: Tess breaks her silence

Taking to Instagram shortly after the investiture, Tess shared an emotional message reflecting on the journey that led her there.

“Well that was quite the morning… I hardly know where to begin — and I’m still pinching myself,” she wrote.
“I was shaking like a leaf when I curtsied.”

She continued by reflecting on her early career, admitting she never imagined such recognition was possible.

“When I got my first TV presenting job 25 years ago on The Big Breakfast, I never dreamed I would be standing here today.”

The ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, where Tess described feeling “deeply honoured” to receive her medal directly from His Majesty.

Tess also spoke movingly about her background — and the personal loss that made the day bittersweet.

“I’m proud to hail from a northern, working-class background, which makes this all the more surreal and special,” she said.
“My only regret is that my darling dad didn’t get to be part of one of the most special days of my life.”

She went on to thank colleagues and collaborators she has worked with across decades of television.

“This honour reflects their talent, dedication and support. Receiving this award is a privilege beyond words — and without doubt the greatest honour of my career.”

Unsurprisingly, messages of love and congratulations flooded in almost instantly.

Rochelle Humes wrote: “SO deserved. Congratulations Tess!”
Richard Arnold shared a stream of heart emojis, while Strictly professional Nadiya Bychkova added simply: “Congratulations!”

Fans echoed the sentiment, praising Tess not only for her broadcasting legacy, but for her grace, warmth and longevity in the industry.

    Vernon Kay’s proud tribute

Tess was accompanied to Windsor Castle by her husband, Vernon Kay, and their daughter Phoebe, cutting a striking figure in a red gown and headpiece as she met the King.

Vernon later paid a heartfelt tribute on his own social media, writing:

“Since we met, your drive, dedication, focus and professionalism have been a huge inspiration.
    You deserve your MBE today.”

He also highlighted her record-breaking achievement on Strictly, adding:

“21 years at the helm of @bbcstrictly is a record for any female in entertainment television. Let’s pop those corks!”

An ending — and a legacy

As Tess prepares to say goodbye to Strictly after more than two decades, fans are reflecting on a career defined not just by glamour and success, but by consistency, resilience and quiet determination.

Emanuel said: “Breaking – moments ago, President T.r.ump announcing a powerful strike against Islamic state in Nigeria. Let’s go back to Madison Scarpino on West Palm Beach with the breaking details. Madison?” Scarpino joined via video link to explain: “Yeah Mike. President T.r.ump says that strike was deadly and he says it’s because they’ve been targeting and viciously killing primarily Christians.

“Now he just made the announcement on Truth Social saying in part, quote: ‘I have previously warned these terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight there was. The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes as only the United States is capable of doing.’”

The quote continued: “Under my leadership, our country will not allow radical Islamic terrorism to prosper. May God bless our military and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.”

Viewers flocked to X to share their thoughts, with one writing: “This is a major escalation and raises a lot of questions about sovereignty and the implications of such actions on international relations.”

Paddy replaced Gregg Wallace after the former MasterChef judge stepped down amid multiple allegations relating to inappropriate behaviour towards female factory workers during filming at Nestlé and on several productions over a 17-year period.

Gregg has denied the claims, calling them inaccurate, but later stepped back from MasterChef while Banijay UK conducts an external investigation. He has been accused of a range of misconduct, including inappropriate language, behaviour towards women on set and offensive remarks, leading to Grace Dent taking over his judging role.

The ninth series of Inside The Factory sees Paddy and Cherry travelling the UK — and even Belgium — to uncover how everything from sliced bread to chocolate shells is made, with the Christmas special revealing the production of four million chocolate shells a day.

Despite the rumours, Paddy insists there’s no romance behind the scenes — just a strong professional friendship that fans perhaps read a little too much into.

“There’s nowhere lower for him to go; the only thing he has left to do in his social life is go riding, and we have seen him riding in the recent days, looking totally miserable, and go shooting, and it sounds like that’s been taken away from him.” Highlighting potential risk, Griffiths added: “This is total anecdotal, but there is this saying in the posh communities that there are two people who are most at risk of suicide and it’s farmers and aristos … becasue those are the people that have access to guns and you dont want anyone who’s having any kind of mental health troubles to have easy access, unsupervised to a gun.”

The presenter then probed into allegations of Mounbatten-Windsor being a “hoarder” and “being forced to go through decades’ worth of belongings.”

“Yeah, I have heard that,” the journalist responded. “I’ve heard that he is something of a hoarder and a couch potato, and he has let entire rooms at his house stack up with muddles of documents, photos, just junk. We know he keeps 14 teddy bears on his bed.

“He is having to go through piece by piece, and apparently, he’s being really protective about those items; he doesn’t want somebody coming in and helping, and at the same time, it’s not the kind of stuff that you can just clear out and shove into a skip.”

Griffiths continued: “There’s only one man who can go through all this stuff, when he downsizes, and that’s Prince Andrew, and he’s the worst qualified person in a way because it’s all very meaningful to him, he’s at a low ebb, he’s been chucked out of his house and doesn’t feel he should have been. So, really, he’s making very slow progress, and there’s mountains of mountains to get through.

“At the same time, his ex-wife [Sarah Ferguson] is also moving out of the property and she’s been there for donkey’s years as well, so its all a bit of a muddle and a bit of a mess, and I can hardly blame the police for wanting to keep tabs on whether there are guns in the house as well.”

It is believed that Andrew, who has regularly hosted shooting parties over the years, can now only use and transport his shotguns when accompanied by someone. It is reported that he owns shotguns and rifles by James Purdey and Sons.

According to a source via The Sun: “He will be under strict supervision. It is a real blow.

“He will now not be able to do things like use guns on his own or even transport them unless he is under strict supervision. It is a real blow to him.”

A Met Police spokesperson told the publication: “On Wednesday, November 19, firearms licensing officers attended an address in Windsor to request that a man in his 60s voluntarily surrender his firearms and shotgun certificate.

“The certificate was surrendered, and we will not be commenting any further at this stage.”

Every year on Christmas Day, the royal family steps out to attend a church service. They also take the time to meet people who have gathered in the chilly weather.

The royal family spends the Christmas period in Sandringham each year.

On Thursday, the young princess, 10, greeted well-wishers and shared a sweet moment with one woman.

Many people gather in Sandringham to enjoy interactions with the royals, take selfies, and to also give them gifts.

On this year’s walkabout, Princess Charlotte and her brothers, Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, seven, were seen juggling many gifts from well-wishers.

But one woman seemed to just want a hug from Princess Charlotte. After spotting the woman, Charlotte walked over to a security guard and asked them to hold her gifts.

She was heard saying: “Could you hold this please? Thank you.”

The security guard then took the gifts from Charlotte, and she walked over to the woman and gave her a hug.

‘A genuine smile and warm hug’

The adorable moment was caught on camera and it’s left fans online gushing over Charlotte’s behaviour.

Many praised her “impeccable” manners towards the security guard, while others compared her to the late Princess Diana for her hug.

One person said on X: “Love when Princess Charlotte said to their security guard ” can you hold this PLEASE ” then proceeded to go and hug the woman, she’s such well mannered and kind-hearted soul.”

Such poise and grace for her age.

Another wrote: “Oh my goodness this is such a beautiful clip. You can see the way she talks to her RPO too. She said ‘can you hold these please’ then said ‘thank you’ before going to hug the lady. She has impeccable manners.”

Someone else gushed: “My goodness, this reminded me so much of her late Grandma, Princess Diana. What a wonderful child is Princess Charlotte.”

A fourth added: “A genuine smile and warm hug. #PrincessCharlotte has learned well from her parents. Such poise and grace for her age.”

Meanwhile, another wrote: “This is very heartwarming.”

Trisha Goddard has shared a moving and deeply personal update as she celebrated turning 68 while living with terminal cancer — and her message has struck a powerful chord with fans.

The beloved TV legend posted a joyful clip on Instagram, dancing around her living room and smiling through the pain of her diagnosis. Alongside the video, she wrote: “If dem ask me how me feel turning 68 today & living with metastatic breast cancer.”

In the footage, Trisha beams at the camera and declares simply: “I made it!” — a short sentence that captured the emotional weight of everything she has endured.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star is currently living with secondary breast cancer, also known as metastatic or stage four breast cancer. She also revealed that she suffers from Raynaud’s syndrome, a condition that restricts blood flow to the fingers and toes, often causing numbness, burning sensations and skin colour changes.

Raynaud’s can develop as a side effect of cancer treatment, including chemotherapy — another hurdle Trisha continues to face behind the scenes.

Despite the reality of her illness, Trisha’s spirits remain high as she heads into the festive season.

Opening up about the moment she was told her cancer had returned, she admitted:
“When you first hear those words — ‘your cancer has come back’ — and every time you look at the news your eye seems to be drawn to the words CANCER and TERMINAL, you think that’s it.”

But she explained how the medical world has changed the way metastatic cancer is viewed.

“Scientists and the medical world have re-classified metastatic cancer to being a LIFE LIMITING illness, for good reason,” she said.
“New drugs, new treatments, new medical breakthroughs.”

Trisha went on to thank the people who have supported her during her toughest days.

“My darling husband and kids. My fantastic oncology team and nurses. My darling friends who haven’t ghosted me. And YOU out there,” she added.
“Your kind words, laughter and encouragement means I celebrate you all!”

The broadcaster was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and revealed in 2023 that it had progressed to stage four. She only made her terminal diagnosis public last year.

During her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year, Trisha spoke candidly about the harsh side effects of the “wonder drug” she is currently taking.

“My cancer count has come down and down and down — this drug is working,” she said.
“But people don’t know it’s one of the most vicious drugs to take.”

She listed the side effects she battles daily: “Terrible constipation, muscle aches, taste affected, eyesight affected.”
Yet she remains realistic — and grateful.

“If I hadn’t had it, I wouldn’t be here. It’s last call at the rodeo drug.”

Three years ago, Trisha was told her cancer had reached stage four, but she waited until last year to publicly confirm it was terminal — choosing hope over fear every step of the way.
