Meghan Markle has been accused of “disappearing” every time Prince Harry faces a major setback. On Tuesday (July 7), it was announced that the Duke of Sussex had lost his High Court case against the Daily Mail’s publisher, Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL). He was among several high-profile figures pursuing legal action against the publishing company over allegations that it carried out or commissioned unlawful activities, including hiring private investigators to plant listening devices in cars, “blagging” private records, and accessing private phone conversations.
However, a judge dismissed all of his claims. Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has now suggested Meghan will no longer want to join Harry in the UK at the end of the week, despite indications from the Sussexes’ team that she will. This is because she believes Meghan tends to “disappear” whenever Harry is facing a difficult period, arguing that his latest humiliating setback is no exception.

Speaking to TalkTV presenter Mark Dolan, she said: “If we were to hypothetically imagine that Meghan Markle was really coming, my thought process was she will absolutely be by Harry’s side on Friday if he wins, but he’s lost now.
“I don’t think she wants to be on the arm of a loser. What does Meghan Markle do when Harry is going through difficult times publicly? She disappears!”
Kinsey continued: “When you think about when Jimmy Kimmel was tearing into him over Spare. Where’s Meghan when he’s promoting Spare? She disappears.

“Where was Meghan when he lost his Ravec case, when he sat down and was reaming the Royal Family to the BBC? Meghan mysteriously disappears.
“When Harry is going through difficult times, Meghan is MIA, she’s nowhere to be found. Even though Harry’s team is teasing that we could get a Meghan Markle appearance on Friday, I don’t think we’ll see her because when Harry is having a difficult time, Meghan doesn’t want to be involved.”
Mark echoed this sentiment, remarking: “History teaches us that if you are not of use to the Duchess of Sussex, you’re in a very lonely place and that looks like where Harry is right now.”
He questioned what Harry is bringing to the table, describing Meghan as a “hustler”, who is trying every avenue to make money.
“She’s selling her clothing online. She’s pitching endlessly to Netflix, not that they’re listening,” he said in a swipe at the Duchess.
The presenter argued that while Harry sees himself as a “philanthropist” and an “influencer”, he believes the dad-of-two has little influence over anyone.
Kinsey agreed: “I think he’s going to have a very hard time convincing anyone that he has anything of value to say.”
