Prince Harry has repeatedly shared his hatred for one major part about his life as a royal.

Prince Harry has repeatedly expressed his dislike of the British press, which is something that Prince William and Princess Catherine are also thought to have struggled with during their life as royals. The 41-year-old spoke about the media in his bombshell memoir Spare, sharing that he believed there to be a direct line between the photographers chasing his late mother’s car in Paris, his own experiences with relentless public scrutiny and online abuse directed at his wife Meghan Markle.
Speaking on the late episode of Talking Royals, royal author Simon Vigar said that the former working royal doesn’t “differentiate between the paparazzi and the rest of the media” – adding that this is something that differs from the way his brother and sister-in-law do.
Also on the episode , ITV’s Lizzie Robinson recalls how Harry was seen “glaring” at members of the media during a previous engagement just months before stepping away from royal life.
Ms Robinson said: “Very long engagement, very hot.
“Harry was sitting on stage under a canopy and I remember him glaring at the media and were in the blaring midday sun,” whilst adding that Harry was “in the shade”.
Mr Vigar, who was also at the engagement, said: “We were melting and he doesn’t differentiate between the paparazzi and the rest of the media in a way that William and Catherine do.
“That distinction has gone. It’s all there in his book [spare].”

The engagement took place in October 2018, during the couple’s visit to Fiji.
Meghan’s pregnancy with their first child, who was born in May 2019, was announced at the time of the trip.
The couple stepped down from royal life in early 2020, and have lived in the US ever since.
