After a lengthy absence, Greg Gutfeld has finally returned to Fox News following the birth of his first child, Mira, with wife Elena Moussa.
The 60-year-old TV host had left fans worried when he disappeared from the network, but now, six weeks later, he’s back on both Gutfeld! and The Five.
However, Gutfeld’s return was marked by a heartbreaking announcement about his daughter’s birth. During his comeback on The Five, his co-hosts presented him with gifts and a celebratory cake.
Gutfeld admitted he hasn’t changed a nappy yet, joking that he’s “never around” when Mira needs changing. As he laughed about his new fatherhood, Gutfeld opened his first gift, a blue and black plaid neckerchief for his French Bulldog, Gus, emblazoned with: “Big brother.”

But it seems Gus isn’t too thrilled about his new sibling. When asked how Gus was coping with Mira’s arrival, Gutfeld confessed: “Oh, Gus – I gotta say, that’s the challenge of having a French Bulldog when you have a kid.”
He revealed that Gus is struggling emotionally, no longer being the centre of attention in the Gutfeld household. “So, he does these ritual pees. he peed in front of the baby room for no…” Gutfeld then unveiled a unicorn onesie for the baby, which distracted him from continuing about Gus, but it’s clear the dog has been marking his territory around the house without reason.
A few weeks back, Greg Gutfeld’s co-host, Dana Perino, had some major news to announce from him, revealing that he and his spouse Elena Moussa, aged 42, were now the proud parents to a baby girl. “This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you,” Dana began on ‘The Five’, hinting at the absence of Gutfeld who hadn’t been on the show for some time due to a delightful reason.
“This is a statement that he sent me today. So I’m reading this as if I’m Greg,” she said before reading out: “It is with great joy that my wife Elana and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs.”

Gutfeld then broke his silence on social media during Christmas, engaging his half a million Instagram followers with festive updates. He posted a cute photo of Gus the dog lounging on the sofa, jokingly captioning it: “As usual, he got me nothing for Christmas. Although he left something that looks like coal in the middle of the living room.”
Later on, Gutfeld uploaded a clip of a snowy stroll with Gus, who was sporting a stylish little black coat. The happy hound explored the snow, as Gutfeld commented on the activity: “Oh, he’s happy. Look at him go up the hill. This is good, probably good for me too.”
Gutfeld captioned his update: “Upstate sick as a dog. Not this dog. He’s doing fine,” hinting that he wasn’t feeling great. Nevertheless, Gutfeld’s followers were excited to see him posting on social media.
In the comments, an admirer enthused: “So hearing your voice made me teary, hearing your news about a baby brought tears, watching The Five’s Christmas exchange today brought tears, and so I say.”
“Congratulations to you, Elena, and Gus on your baby, so very happy for you all. But, I know I’m not the only one who misses you terribly:) We need you to come back please.”
Another fan stressed: “Congratulations! Happy healthy new year. Please come back really soon. Show is just not the same without you.”
Yet another joined in saying: “Merry Christmas! I hope you feel better. Enjoy that new baby! They really will grow up so fast. And get back to work. We miss you.”
