What is a streak pet?

Streaks are earned through direct messaging and the frequency in which you send videos to your friends.

Social media apps love to use streaks to drive user interaction on their platforms, which TikTok is taking a step further.

Those who hold streaks will be provided with a visual reward system rather than just a number – revealing a sweet little pet.

These digital pets will popup in messages between you and the person you hold a streak with.

Interacting with your pal will provide care for your “streak pet” and all of its needs.

How do I get a streak pet?

First, ensure your TikTok is completely up-to-date to get a streak pet.

Then you can start building up your streak with a friend.

An option will then appear near the text box that will make you click “streak pet”.

TikTok will provide you with instructions on how to take care of your streak pet – all of which require consistent interaction.

Then it is on you to keep your streak up which will keep your streak pet alive and well.
