Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin declares ‘over and out’ ahead of return to BBC show for 2026

Nikita Kuzmin has been seen marking the end of his latest career move away from Strictly Come Dancing, just ahead of his return to the hit dance show.
Fans best know the professional dancer for being part of the hit BBC One dance show, having joined back in 2021 and was recently seen back in the ballroom for his fifth year, where he made it to the final with actress and West End star Amber Davies.
But away from Strictly, it was back in September that Nikita confirmed that he will be heading back out on another solo tour next year. Following the success of his first headline show, Midnight Dancer, earlier in 2025, the 28-year-old confirmed his new show, Supernova.
And after weeks of performing for audiences up and down the country, it was on Sunday (July 26), that Nikita took to social media to mark the end of the show, which comes ahead of his return to the Strictly ballroom.
Sharing pictures from the show on Instagram, he wrote: “SUPERNOVA OVER AND OUT [heart emoji]. It’s not often that you get so lucky to be surrounded by people who you love, admire, get inspired by and want to spend time with every single day. I was this year. These last 3 months went by so quickly, but I will cherish those memories forever [heart emoji].

“Thank you to my team for bringing joy and love to every single day we got to spend together. I love you guys and a million thank you wouldn’t be enough[heart emoji]. Thank you to every person who was involved in Supernova from the very begging till the very end, you know who you are and you’re special people to me [heart emoji].
“Thank you to the tens of thousands of people who came to see the show, we felt your love every single day, this show wouldn’t be possible without you [heart emoji].” He added: “Feel sad writing this with the realization that it’s over, but extremely grateful that it all happened [heart emoji]. I LOVE YOU ALL.”
And he was quickly flooded with messages of love and support. His sister, Anastasia gushed: “Incredible! @jasongilkison you’re amazing. And Nikita I’m so so proud of you [heart emoji8]. Special mention to the dancers, you guys smashed it! Best of the best.” Former Strictly pro Karen Hauer commented: “So proud of you [heart emoji].”
@angela__lately said: “Was there last night and you were incredible (as was your dance team) – such a fabulous show, you must be very proud of what you achieved.” @jeanneloon replied: “You smashed it Nikita with your fabulous Supernova team. We saw you in Guildford, simply the best.”
@denise_alexander_82 wrote: “@nikita__kuzmin a truly wonderful show! I brought my children to see the show, their first time seeing you. They were in awe of everyone on stage. Incredible.” @jmel.issa66 added: “Thank you so much Nikita. Absolutely LOVED the show!!! You radiate such beautiful energy and presence, and bring so much JOY to the world.”
