A This Morning presenter has revealed that they ended up going to a hospital this afternoon in a post on social media.
The new was shared by Josie Gibson, 40, through her Instagram Story earlier. The stand-in host of the ITV show announced to her followers on the platform that she was seeking medical attention for an undisclosed health issue. She didn’t reveal whether it was over an injury to herself or someone else that she was accompanying to the hospital.
She however shared a photo that showed directions for the Fracture & Orthopaedic Clinics and a Trauma Assessment Unit on signs visible on a wall on the site. Over the photo, she wrote in the caption: “You couldn’t even make it up”. Josie’s post was set to rock band Mazzy Star’s song Cry Cry.
The Big Brother winner has yet to provide any update on the situation or further details about her visit to hospital this afternoon. Josie has spoken about various health issues in the past, including her having discussed previously seeking treatment for tonsillitis. The TV presenter has also been open about experiencing sleep paralysis, for example.

Her latest post comes ahead of her new show, Around the World in First Class, launching on Channel 5 later this week. The three-part series – which debuts on Friday – follows Josie as she experiences “first-class travel” around the world. She’s set to visit a host of countries like Grenada, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates on the trip over the course of the series.
In a teaser, she states: “More and more of us are splashing out on once-in-a-lifetime trips and the travel companies can’t wait to have us. But is it worth the added expense? And how do you bag yourself a bargain?” She adds in the clip shared on social media: “Luckily I’m prepared to get out there and find out exactly what you get for your cash.”
And speaking about having signed up for the show, Josie said recently that she initially thought the offer was a “wind-up”. She said: “When I got the call, I thought this cannot be real. I thought it was a wind-up. I think it took me less than a second to say yes. If somebody had told the younger me that one day this would be my life, I would never have been able to believe it in a million years.” She added: “It is better than I ever could have dreamed of. I don’t even want to sugar coat it – I’m jealous of me.”
