Princess Eugenie is being credited with making a careful decision over how she handles royal life as she focuses on her growing family and keeps some distance from the turmoil surrounding her parents.
The Princess recently welcomed her third child in Portugal and has largely remained away from the public spotlight while attention around her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, continues.
Her sister, Princess Beatrice, has remained in Britain, but Eugenie appears to have chosen a different path by prioritising her family life abroad.
According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, that may ultimately help Eugenie protect her own public image and preserve her place within the wider Royal Family.
He suggested the Princess now appears “freer” than Beatrice as both sisters continue to deal with scrutiny linked to their parents.

He claimed Eugenie appears “freer” as a result.
