While the pair have yet to confirm their romance, they’ve been spotted out and about together off-screen, including enjoying a luxury spa trip at a country club.

Now, Gethin has shared a cheek post about the presenter on social media as he marked her 42nd birthday on Saturday.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the former Blue Peter host posted a snap of Helen surrounded by a flock of sheep.

Gethin wrote ‘Penblwydd Hapus’ which means Happy Birthday in Welsh, before joking: ‘Have the best time hanging out with your mates x,’ referring to the livestock.

After appearing on-screen together, the pair’s friendship is believed to have blossomed into something more in recent months.

A source previously told MailOnline: ‘Helen and Gethin have an extremely close working relationship and there’s a feeling in recent months their friendship has blossomed into a deeper connection.

‘They’re both keen to keep a lid on it to avoid public scrutiny but there’s no denying their closeness both off and on-screen.’

Gethin and Helen first sparked rumours of a possible romance in March during a joint 24-hour roller-skating challenge for Comic Relief.

Gethin publicly praised Helen’s resilience and sense of humour while also gushing about how much he loved spending time with her.

Helen later reciprocated the admiration, writing on social media following the challenge: ‘My dear @gethinjonesc… You are some man.

‘I don’t publicly say often enough how much love and respect I have for you my friend because I assume it is well known, but for the record you’re a legend and I am beyond grateful to have you by my side on the rink, the sofa and beyond.’

Helen has been single since her high profile 2022 break-up from husband Richie Myler – the father of her three children, Ernie, nine, Louis, eight and Elsie, three.

The rugby league player, 34, was married to Helen for nine years before they split with the former Strictly star writing on Instagram that she was very ‘sad’ he had ‘left the family home’.

Gethin is also single and earlier this year, he told how he was banned from dating app Hinge after a whopping 300 women viewed his profile, as he was accused of being a catfish.

Recalling the incident during an appearance on the Restless Natives podcast, he said: ‘A couple of weeks ago I was kicked off Hinge twice in eight hours for violating the Code of Conduct. Three hundred women had reported me for catfishing.

‘It was that moment when you have to write to Hinge, on a Thursday night, all alone, “Dear Hinge, it’s Gethin here, 46, I just want to get my money back because it’s not really working for me”, eating some cereal because there’s nothing in the fridge.

Gethin was previously engaged to Katherine Jenkins after the pair met in 2007.

In February 2011 they announced they were set to marry, though in December of the same year Gethin called off the engagement and split.

Maybe it’s because we genuinely have a lovely relationship? We have a bit of banter but it’s never sniping at each other. We’re just kind to each other, we get on and we look out for each other.”

Amidst a whirlwind of activity, Lisa juggles motherhood to her 18 year old daughter, a return to acting, and filming for ITV’s John And Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, not to mention working on spin-offs and cookery books.

The dynamic duo juggles their busy schedules with finesse, and Lisa reveals how they manage to strike a balance between work and leisure. “We have so much to do separately, and we film about 10 episodes of our show in nine days, so it’s not really that much time together!” she told the Mirror.

“We’re not in each other’s pockets, which I think would make our relationship very different. So, it’s really nice to actually catch up on holidays or when we’re working together.”

Lisa emphasises the significance of setting boundaries, particularly when it comes to culinary pursuits. “We cook together, which we really like, and obviously our sort of home office is the kitchen, where we’re constantly cooking, or writing recipes and coming up with ideas.”

She also stresses the importance of flexibility in their routine: “So sometimes there are nights when I think, ‘I don’t actually want to cook a recipe that I need to test tonight, I’m going to cook a spag bol.’ It’s about getting a balance.”

Lisa reflects on the ebb and flow of her career, saying, “In my job, it’s either feast or famine. But when I’ve got nothing on I’ve learnt to enjoy those times – cooking for the family, sitting in the garden, even doing the washing!”

It’s hard to believe that even Lisa, who celebrated her 53rd birthday earlier this year, could have predicted the myriad of opportunities that her victorious run on Celebrity MasterChef would bring, including finding her partner.

Despite her relationship, she’s established herself as a true culinary expert, standing her ground at industry events alongside gastronomic giants like Michel Roux and Dame Mary Berry (and John, naturally). After the success of John And Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, which premiered in 2019, her initial passion for acting took a bit of a backseat.

However, that’s about to change, Lisa reveals with a smile.

“Acting makes my heart beat, it makes me so excited,” she shares. “I’m still manifesting a period drama. I did some acting last year, in Harlan Coben’s Missing You, and I absolutely loved it. I haven’t done a period piece for a very, very long time so that’s my bucket-list job.”

Lisa, who tragically lost her mother Julie to throat cancer during her teenage years, is also determined to maximise precious family moments with her 18 year old daughter Billie, whom Lisa and her former husband Chris Coghill adopted as an infant.

Jeremy Clarkson has waded in on Sir Keir Starmer after his latest decision to lower the national voting age. The former Top Gear host has described that the “nightmare” Labour government is “here to stay” following the change. The latest move from Starmer will see 16 and 17-year-olds vote in general elections for the first time in England and Northern Ireland, following in line with Scotland and Wales, where younger voters can already vote in devolved elections. The decision marks the first reduction in voting age since 1969.

Writing in his column for The Sun, Clarkson wasn’t wholly encouraged by the news. He recalled the Labour government of 1976 and its comparisons with today’s government under Starmer.

He wrote: “Back in 1976, there was such a long spell of hot, dry weather that hosepipe bans became necessary. And there was a Labour government in power who were busy making a complete mess of everything. The economy was tanking. Strikes were rife.”

Jeremy also added that in 2025, we are seeing plenty of similar parallels. The only difference is that back in the 1970s, “we had decent music” and cited Bohemian Rhapsody as an example.

The Clarkson’s Farm star concluded: “Today, we have Pink Pony Club and a promise that in the next election, a bunch of people who aren’t old enough to drink in a pub and get all their information from TikTok will be allowed to vote in the General Election.”

Clarkson then gave a savage prediction of what lies ahead, adding: “Which virtually guarantees the nightmare is here to stay.”

Starmer defended his decision over the change, telling ITV News: “I think it’s really important that 16 and 17-year-olds have the vote because they’re old enough to go out to work, they’re old enough to pay taxes, and I think if you pay in you should have the opportunity to say what you want your money spent on.”

The Electoral Commission found that approximately 750,000 individuals did not vote in the last election because their ID was not acceptable under current rules.

Ben asked: ‘J.F Kennedy, yep?’ He then wanted to know what Hanifa’s competition would have answered.

Luckily he had no idea and said: ‘Not sure.’

‘Didn’t have to answer it, because Hanfia, she’s all over this,’ Ben said.

‘Let’s see if you got the right one. Is it J.F Kennedy?…’

The light then went red, indicating that she got the incorrect answer.

Ben explained: ‘It was George H W Bush was the president in 1989. Kennedy was president in the 60s, Abraham Lincoln was the 1860s, so the century before…’

The channel has launched a first-of-its-kind new channel fronted by Jeremy Clarkson, Stephen Mulhern and Graham Norton.

Quiz show viewers will be able to enjoy a number of their favourite programmes for a whopping 16 hours.

The likes of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Wheel of Fortune, Tenable, Lingo, Tipping Point and Deal or No Deal will air between 9am and 1am on the new channel.

The official press release states: ‘ITV Quiz promises the very best in game show entertainment from the iconic classics to recent hits and with an array of star-studded quizmasters at helm including Graham Norton, Stephen Mulhern, Warwick Davies, Mel Giedroyc, Jeremy Clarkson and more.
