Michael Strahan sounds off on NFL style

Michael Strahan – former NFL legend and current TV personality – has landed a brand-new opportunity outside of Fox NFL Sunday. This fall, he will appear as a guest investor on Season 17 of ABC’s Shark Tank, joining an all-star lineup that includes Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, and more.

3 Enduring Values in the Fox News Doocy Father-Son Bond that Deeply Move and Inspire Viewers!

Peter, Steve Doocy talk careers, family and that time Peter became the storyMany boys want to follow in their fathers’ footsteps, and you can’t blame Peter Doocy for being one of them. His dad, Wyckoff resident Steve Doocy, is an Emmy Award–winning TV reporter who has worked for NBC and CBS and currently serves Fox as the co-host of Fox & Friends. He’s also a New York Times best-selling author—Steve has written two books on marriage and parenthood with his wife and Peter’s mom, Kathy, also a journalist.

For Peter, growing up watching his father casually talk to the President of the United States and report on 9/11 seems to have produced a natural ease as a reporter. As an undergrad at Villanova University in 2008, he asked Senator John McCain a question at a public event, expressing himself eloquently—and closing with an invitation to do a whiskey shot with him, making the Republican Presidential nominee burst into laughter. That gusto, combined with guidance from his folks, helps Peter in his current position of D.C. correspondent for Fox News Channel.

From the start of his career, Peter has found his parents’ advice invaluable. “As a young reporter, the best thing you can do is ask someone who has been there,” he says. “My mom and dad have both been there.” But now, with the platforms of journalism changing so rapidly, he gets to help his father too.

“I ask Peter a lot of questions about social media,” Steve confides, adding that he realized he was making progress when Peter was working on a story and Steve was able to offer him some 21st-century assistance. “I made a suggestion to him on a Google search,” he says. “I think he was actually surprised that a man who was born under President Eisenhower could have a good Google idea.”

When Peter landed an enviable assignment— an exclusive interview with the Navy SEAL who KL 0sama B1n L2den for a two-night documentary special that broke Fox viewership records—his dad was delighted, though he does admit to a bit of envy. “As a journalist I was jealous,” Steve says with a laugh. “He got the exclusive! But as a parent I thought, ‘The man who is interviewing that American hero is the guy who used to live upstairs.’ I was very proud of Peter.”

Whenever Peter decides to come back to New Jersey, that upstairs room is still available to him. The need for a consistent place to call home is what brought the Doocys to New Jersey in the first place—and kept them here. When Steve and Kathy moved the family from Virginia to work in the Big Apple, they decided on a house in Wyckoff, and from that day forward they stayed put. “It was important to me that we lived in the same house so that the kids always knew where home was,” Steve says. “Ultimately, over the past 20 years, they still come back, and it’s still home—that’s what we were going for.”

Staying in the area also has given Steve the chance to get to know other members of the community. He explains that when he visits the grocery store, he’s stopped frequently by neighbors, who offer their opinions on issues he’s discussed on TV. “Maybe because it’s a small town, and I know a lot of folks, they freely give me their opinions,” he says. “It’s a great focus group.” After the attcks n New York City on September 11, 2001, neighbors also brought Steve photos of their missing loved ones, asking him to show them on television—what he describes as his most challenging assignment to date.

Giving back to his Bergen County community has always been a focus for Steve, who balances the roles of family man and successful journalist. For instance, he explains, when Peter was having trouble getting play time on the baseball team, Steve stepped up as the coach. “I had zero experience other than having played 100 years earlier,” he says. “We went to the town’s ‘world series’ that year—it was kind of a Bad News Bears situation.” Kathy was also active in mentoring kids, teaching CCD and serving as a Girl Scout leader.

Since his children are grown—Peter’s two sisters, Mary and Sally, are finishing college—Steve explains that in the near future he and Kathy would like to add a third book to their list of credits, this one on being empty nesters. “In the beginning we thought it was going to be terrible, but now we have a lot more time,” he says. “It’s fantastic!”

As for Peter, he’s busy in D.C. with his burgeoning career. But he still stops by home in Jersey for Mom’s cooking, to see his sisters and to visit his favorite haunts. (See “Doocys Wild” on the facing page.) And he’s still waiting for Senator McCain to call him about that whiskey shot.

    DOOCYS WILD

Anyone can see Steve and Peter Doocy on television, but Bergenites sometimes get to see them in the flesh. Here’s where:

STEVE: Catch Steve playing tennis at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes. “I’m not out to win,” he says. “I’m just trying to get the ball over the net—and not get hit.” And he occasionally finds himself conducting what amounts to informal focus groups at the Market Basket in Franklin Lakes.

PETER: When he’s visiting his parents, you might catch him at Aldo’s in Wyckoff ordering chicken Parmesan, or, like Pops, at the Market Basket, where he worked for years as a teen. “The ‘turker’ there is the best sandwich you’ll ever have,” he says.

As Dramatic as a TV Drama – The Moment Baby George, Son of Fox News Hosts Peter Doocy and Hillary Vaughn, Took viewers from Suspense to JOYFUL Tears!

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy and his wife, Hillary Vaughn, have expanded their brood with the arrival of a bouncing baby boy named George Jack Doocy—the couple’s second child together.

Doocy, 37, and Vaughn wed in an intimate ceremony in South Carolina in 2021, two years before celebrating the arrival of their firstborn child, daughter Bridget Blake Doocy, now 2.

However, that was not the only milestone moment for the Doocys in 2023, a year that also saw the happy couple purchasing a stunning $1.68 million home where they can accommodate their growing family.

The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom dwelling is located in Fairfax, VA, just a 40-minute drive from the White House in Washington, DC, where Doocy works as Fox News’ senior White House correspondent, while his wife serves as a correspondent for Fox Business.

Vaughn was reporting from Capitol Hill just hours before the birth of her son on April 16, revealing to People magazine that she made her way straight from her Tax Day coverage to a routine appointment with her OB, who said her baby was “ready to come out.”

“Maybe he was tired of hearing me talk about taxes, I don’t blame him!” she joked.

Speaking to People, Doocy’s father, “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy, revealed that his son also had a bit of an action-packed lead-up to his son’s birth, explaining that he learned Vaughn was in labor shortly after a bird landed on his head during a live broadcast outside the White House.

According to Steve, his son was midway through a report when “out of nowhere, a dive-bombing bird smacked him in the head.

“That night, Peter went home, shampooed his hair to get the dirty bird out, and Hillary went into labor sometime after the cream rinse,” he shared.

Luckily, Vaughn and Doocy had quite a wait before they would get the chance to meet their newborn—who arrived after 30 hours of labor. His proud mom says it was more than worth the wait.

“It has been such a blessing to welcome our son to this world, and it is just as special to see Bridget welcome her baby brother George,” she said. “Growing our family means giving our kids lifelong best friends, and as a new heartbeat fills our home, our hearts are filled with more love than ever before.”

The happy couple proudly showed off their home in a photoshoot shared with People, in which they could be seen posing with both of their babies inside the picturesque dwelling.

According to the listing for the property, it was previously owned by a builder who poured plenty of time and energy into creating a dream family dwelling, with the description hailing it as a “distinctive and refined” abode.

It “exudes fine touches and luxury finishes almost too numerous to list,” the listing went on.

Those special details include custom cabinetry, top-of-the-line appliances, and double dishwashers in the kitchen, a home office with a separate entrance, custom antebellum antique hardwood floors throughout, and en suite bathrooms for every bedroom.

Entertaining spaces abound in the home, which features a “massive oversized basement” with a wet bar and gym, as well as a library, an expansive living room, and manicured gardens

Perhaps most importantly for the growing family, the home was also outfitted with a “comprehensive state of the art security system.”

The property played a key role in Doocy and Vaughn’s announcement of their second pregnancy—which they shared in a sweet Christmas-themed photo snapped inside the dwelling.

Posted in December 2024, the image saw the happy couple posing next to a Christmas tree alongside their daughter, who was perched next to a giant letter to Santa, which read: “Dear Santa, Baby Brother PLEASE! Love Bridget.”

Although the Virginia property is a relatively new purchase for Doocy and his wife, the Fox News host is no stranger to DC, having relocated there in 2010 after securing a postgraduate position with the network—where his father has worked for nearly two decades.

Doocy spent much of his childhood living in New Jersey, where his parents still own a home, according to property records.

Luckily, the Wyckoff dwelling isn’t too far from DC, which means Bridget and George can likely expect plenty of visits from their doting grandparents.

“Little do they know as a grandparent, my job is to spoil them rotten the rest of their lives,” Steve told People.

On September 17, 2022, Lawrence Jones, the rising Fox News host, introduced the world to his dog, Nala. “People instantly adored her,” he captioned as he shared her photos. Since then, Nala’s become a fixture in his social media life.

Lawrence Jones and his service dog, Nala.

But Lawrence didn’t truly open up about her until a few months later. In the March 28, 2023, episode of Ride to Work With Abby Hornacek, the Texas-born journalist said emotionally: “Nala has truly been a gift in my life.”

Lawrence Jones' service dog, Nala, laying down for a photo.

He recounted that while covering a story about a highly decorated canine who worked with elite forces named Raptor, something unexpected happened. “Raptor was a tough one, but wouldn’t leave my side. Then the handler looked at me and said, ‘You seem like you want one of your own.’”

Lawrence replied with a laugh, “If you can find me one related to Raptor, I’ll take it.” On Labor Day, he received a message: “Found her for you, brother.” And there was a photo of Nala.

From that day on, they were inseparable.

Nala is now training with Baden K9 to support veterans coping with emotional recovery, but when off-duty, she enjoys a cozy life with Lawrence.

Meanwhile, “Lawrence Jones Cross Country” ended its run on Sept. 9, 2023. A few days later, Fox News announced his promotion as a permanent co-host of “Fox & Friends”, making him the youngest African-American anchor in cable news history in that role.

“I’m honored to join the show where I made my first national appearance,” he shared. “To inform our viewers each morning is a privilege I don’t take lightly.”

    Who is Kat Timpf?

Kat Timpf is a columnist, motivational speaker, television personality, reporter, and news analyst for Fox News.

Born on October 29, 1988, Kat was previously the co-host of Fox News Specialists alongside Eric Bolling and Eboni Williams.

The Detroit, Michigan, native has been with Fox News since 2015 and hosted Sincerely, Kat on FNC’s demand subscription-based streaming service.

She has been a star panelist on Fox News’ Gutfeld! since 2015.

Outside of the news world, Kat is also a comedian and is currently on her nationwide I Used To Like You Tour.

Who is Kat Timpf’s husband, Cameron Friscia?

Kat is married to investment banker Cameron Friscia.

Unlike his wife, Cameron tends to keep a low profile, so there’s not a lot of public information about him.

However, it is known that he’s a military veteran.

Born August 10, 1986, in New York City, Cameron earned his bachelor’s degree in science from the U.S. Military School at West Point.

Following the 9/11 attacks, he enlisted in the military, where he served as an Assistant Operations Officer, Executive Assistant to the Brigade Commander, and Company Executive Officer.

On top of that, he’s earned two Master’s degrees with one in Finance and the other in Business Administration, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

He left the military in 2014, and he then went on to establish a career as a broker.

As of an October 2024 update on SignalHire, he was reportedly working as an investment banker at Barclays.

How did Kat and Cameron meet?

The pair have been married since 2021, having met on the exclusive dating app Raya.

The 36-year-old admitted it took her a while to realize that Cameron was the one for her.

But eventually, he won her over.

In 2022, she posted a birthday tribute to him on Instagram, reflecting on how she’d originally misjudged him.

“I know there is nothing that could ever be a match for the team that we are together.”

    Kat Timpf

“I never thought a finance bro could be so loving, giving, patient and understanding, but you prove me wrong every day,” she wrote.

It’s not exactly clear when Kat and Cameron first started dating, but she confirmed their engagement in August 2020 during an appearance on The Greg Gutfeld! Show.

Kat has openly admitted that marriage wasn’t something she had ever been interested in, until she met Cameron.

“When I fell in love with Cam, though, I realized how wrong I was,” she told People magazine.

“I felt more free than I ever have in my entire life.

“Knowing that I have his support and love, I am more fully myself.”

In May 2021, Kat and Cameron tied the knot after announcing their engagement in August 2020.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by fellow Fox News personality Lisa Kennedy Montgomery.

She told the publication being around her husband has helped ease her anxiety: “I know there is nothing that could ever be a match for the team that we are together.”

She added: “I feel so safe, but I’m also shocked to find that the safety isn’t boring.

“I am having the time of my life with him.”

And while she never thought she’d want children, that perspective shifted after falling for Cameron.

“I never, ever wanted kids, nor did I understand why anyone ever would,” she admitted.

“But now, being with him, I feel like I could have his kids.”

In an interview on The Bill Maher Podcast, she described her husband as “very cool” and “secure in himself.”

She also mentioned that he works in finance, comes from a “great family,” and attended boarding school.

The couple also share a dog named Carl and a cat called Cheens.

How many children do Kat Timpf and Cameron Friscia have?

Kat announced she was pregnant with her and Cameron’s first child in a Fox News column on July 31, 2024.

Before the birth of their first child on February 25, 2025, Kat revealed that she was feeling “excited” and “t3rrified”.

However, she revealed she was diagnosed with breast cnc3r just hours before giving birth.

She wrote on X: “Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world.

“About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cnc3r.”

Kat explained in her post that the cnc3r was caught early, with her doctor telling her it’s at “Stage 0 and is confident it almost certainly hasn’t spread.”

She said: “Or, as I’ve explained to the few people I’ve managed to tell about it so far: Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cnc3r.”

Kat shared that she was already feeling stressed, being more than a week overdue and focused on delivering a healthy baby when she was suddenly hit with the shocking news of her cnc3r diagnosis.

“I sat and listened as they told me that the best course of action would likely be a d0uble m2stect0my as soon as possible.

“I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby.

“Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I’d learn at the time of birth was a son.”

Ahead of the birth, Kat was criticized for working past her due date.

She told people to stop telling her to sleep now because she already has trouble resting and that’s “not how sleep works.”

“I can still stand here” – Viewers silenced by Fox News host Johnny Joey Jones’ words, as his painful story inspires and teaches a nation!

Fox News contributor Johnny Joey Jones’ first book spent eight weeks on The New York Times Best Sellers list — yet he was shocked when his latest debuted at No. 1.

“It was quite a surprise for me,” the former Marine Corps b0mb technician tells The Post.

“Unfortunately, there was a wr that broke out the week we decided to release the book, and so my job trumped my promotion of the book. I had a lot of shows scheduled here at Fox and other interviews for the book and had to work on covering the wr,” he explains.

“You don’t want to go from ‘Israel dropped b0mbs today’ or ‘Iran f1red r0ckets’ to ‘And check out my new book!’”

So seeing “the energy around the book” has been “really reassuring and fulfilling.”

This weekend saw the tome atop the hardcover-nonfiction list for the third straight week.

In “Behind the Badge: Answering the Call to Serve on America’s Homefront,” Jones talks to “nine first responders who’ve all had an impact on my life” — most “lifelong friends, some family, and all of them heroes to me” — to get a “raw, unfiltered look into the duty they fulfill and the burden they carry,” as he writes.

He had the idea for it about as soon as he turned in his first book, 2023’s “Unbroken Bonds of Battle: A Modern Warriors Book of Heroism, Patriotism, and Friendship.” That one focused on veterans.

Yes, Joey Jones has written two books centered on other people — when his own story could easily fill hundreds of pages.

Jones will celebrate his 15th Alive Day next month.

“If life doesn’t feel difficult, you’re probably not living,” he says.

“We all have something. I don’t know what it’s like to have cnc3r or at least to know it,” he continues.

“People lose their business, they lose their marriage, they lose a child. These things feel insurmountable, yet people do those things, and they continue on with their life, and they rebuild their life, and they find happiness again. So it’s kind of hard for me to sit around and say, ‘Well, I shouldn’t or I can’t,’ because I see people do it every day. My inspiration are the people in this country that I fought to protect because I just know it’s not easy, and they do it anyway. Sure, yeah, the legs are uncomfortable and at times painful, and it’s frustrating when you’ve worked all day, and all your friends are going out for a drink, but, hey, I have to take time off my legs so I can’t go. But you learn to enjoy the time. You do have appreciate it a little bit more and just be happy that for most of the day you’re up on two legs walking.”

Being on those two legs, with all its challenges, is a decision — Jones could have stayed in a wheelchair.

“I say this with a little bit of reservation because there are those that don’t have the choice of a normal chair and may not agree or understand what I’m about to say, but I made the choice early on that when I walked into a room, I wanted to look people in the eye, if that was an option, and that’s how I’ve chose to live my life. There are people that say, ‘We forgot that you don’t have legs.’ And, well, that’s kind of the point,” he says.

“So all the way from wearing suit pants now instead of shorts to trying to overcome physical obstacles when they’re put in front of me without complaining, if I don’t want to be defined by my legs,” then “I can’t use them as an excuse every time I’m asked to do something I don’t like to do. Or when a wheelchair might be easier.”

A decade and a half after the accident that changed his life, it’s truly a milestone time for Jones, who lives with his wife and two kids on a Georgia farm but spends a lot of time in New York City.

And pivoting from promoting his book wasn’t the only change in plans he’s had to make.

When Donald Trump named “Fox & Friends” weekend co-host and ex-Army National Guard officer Pete Hegseth his defense-secretary nominee, Jones had to drop everything to stand in for him at the last minute. It must have been quite the moment.

Jones chuckles. “I was more so bummed because I had to miss out on the hunting trip I had planned all year. And I ended up having to miss out on all my hunting trips to fill in for Pete. But it was an honor to do it,” he says.

“I was hosting a gala for Tunnel to Towers a few years ago, and some of the executives from Fox were there, and I made the joke that I plan to make, which is that I’ve made a career out of filling in for Pete Hegseth. And then this year, that came to fruition in a larger sense than I realized.”

The “good friends” still talk. “We don’t talk about work because everybody, I’m sure, wants to talk to him about work,” Jones says. “I’ll send him a meme or something and try to remind him that he’s still one of us.”

Jones is an avid hunter who did a series on the subject for Fox Nation.

“For me, the most fun way to hunt is to hunt with your friends. And a lot of big-game hunting is about stealth. So you’ve got to be quiet. You can’t talk. So the majority of hunting I do is bird hunting, like duck hunting. You can pile as many guys in there as you want to, and until you see ducks, you don’t have to be quiet,” he says.

“So it’s social, and that’s what I like. And with my visibility, both with Fox News and my injury, I get offered a lot of fun hunts, and it’s a way to share that with the guys that have done way more than me that don’t have the same peacock personality.”

And he knows his stuff. “Those ducks up in Canada — before they migrate south, they are fluffy and fat, and they don’t fly as much,” he said when this writer mentioned being from Alberta.

“If you’re a big duck hunter, on your bucket list is an early-season Canada hunt. A mallard duck will be twice the size in Canada at the beginning of the season than it will be in Arkansas or Texas at the end of season.”

Even so, he says, “if we go kl a dozen ducks, we’re going to eat eight to 10 of them.”

He’s gone hunting with some of the people profiled in “Behind the Badge”; the book has a picture of game wrden Jeremy Judd carrying him on one trip.

Judd was called into a 2011 search team to find a su1c1dal police officer — and ended up being the one to shoot him when he pointed his gun at the team and refused to drop it.

Such f2t2lities can haunt first responders for years.

Jones knew the subjects and their stories before writing the book but still learned something important in the process.

“In this country, we have Memorial Day and Veterans Day,” he says.

“There are several holidays throughout the year oriented towrds either wr or military service, and in that has been this 20-year growth where the country has accepted that veterans have m3ntal health resulting from their time in service. Society has accepted their own culpability in it. Hey, we ask you to go to wr for us, and that hurt you that way, and we have a responsibility to help you get better. We have everything from veterans’ courts and local municipalities to the Department of Veterans Affairs, so from a local level to the national level to a corporate level — Applebee’s would give me a free meal on Veterans Day — there’s this acknowledgment and call to action for veterans’ m3ntal health.

“Then you look at first responders. And name an organization that’s nationally active, name a department of the government that works to support their m3ntal health. None of that exists. It’s still very much in the precinct, in the fire hall, on the SWAT team, at the Border Patrol outpost. It’s very much just peer to peer.”

Jones hopes his book can help change that.

“We expect the same level of perfection from them, and they’re all governed by the Constitution, so there is a federal interest in their m3ntal health,” he says.

EXPLOSIVE talk show moment between Fox News host Lara Tr::u::mp and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt – 3 REASONS why ALL EYES are on them!

LARA Tr::u::mp has given a sneak peek into her “welcome home” to Fox News as she prepares for her new show, which airs for the first time this weekend.

Lara’s show kicks off on Saturday at 9 pm, promising a “behind-the-scenes look” at some of the most prominent figures in the White House, she told The U.S. Sun.

The first episode features sit-down interviews with special guests including Attorney General Pam Bondi, United States Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

“I think the interviews we have this week are awesome,” Lara revealed.

“These are strong, intelligent women who have become friends of mine and just happen to be in these amazingly important positions within the Tr::u::mp administration.”

Leavitt, 28, has caught the public’s eye as the youngest person ever to hold the prestigious position.

Lara revealed she has been “blown away” by the firecracker’s time at the podium, which has been full of f13ry c0mebacks and no-nonsense briefings.

“She’s totally killing it,” Lara said, adding that the press secretary is “so impressive.”

“You know, it’s funny because I’ve known Karoline for a little over a year now.

“She was obviously the spokesperson for the Tr::u::mp campaign. And I knew her as, you know, a colleague.

“And I was always very impressed with her.

“I see her in interviews and different moments and different spaces, but you really never know how someone will be until they take that podium. And she blew me away.”

Lara Tr::u::mp’s ‘strong and beautiful’ inauguration look blasted by cruel trolls slamming ‘Mar-a-Lago makeover’
She said she was surprised at first by Leavitt’s fiery attitude in the briefing room.

“I didn’t know all that was in there,” Lara said, noting that Leavitt is a “little, very sweet-looking package.”

“She’s absolutely incredible. And we’re so proud of the job that she’s doing.”

Leavitt is a former Fox News personality – which she has in common with Lara, whose return to the network comes after she previously worked at the network as a contributor.

Lara’s appearances on Fox during the Republican National Convention, in particular – coming just days after the sickening assass1nat10n attempt on her father-in-law, Donald – secured her as a viewer favorite.

“It’s about more transparency, not less, which is following in the footsteps of Donald Tr::u::mp himself.”

Lara Tr::u::mp on her new show

Lara told The U.S. Sun it’s been comforting to return to the network.

“I’ve worked with Fox previously, I had such a great experience there. In a lot of ways it kind of felt like coming home to me,” she said.

“So I was really excited when this kind of came to fruition. It actually made it an easier choice for me to say yes to this because, having been there once, knowing the lay of the land, and the atmosphere at Fox News, I was really excited to be back on the team.”

Lara’s massive decision to begin a Fox News show comes as she faced multiple other options, with everyone eager to have her on their team.

After a highly-successful run as RNC co-chair, her resignation from that role in December 2024 appeared to clear the way for her to fill the Florida Senate seat left empty but Marco Rubio’s move to Secretary of State.

Yet Elon Musk also had his eye on the Republican rising star, offering Lara a role in his newly formed Department of Government Efficiency.

“I really wrestled with this decision because it’s a big decision on all fronts,” Lara said of her choice to step away from both those roles for the Fox position.

She admitted that the choice between D0GE, the Senate, and Fox ultimately “had to do with my kids.”

Lara shares two young children with her husband, Eric.

“My kids are five and seven years old. Nothing’s more important to a parent than your children,” Lara added.

“And they’re at an age where they still want me around. They always want mom and dad around. They want to hang out with us.

“Time is really precious when you have kids.

“And so the thought of me as potentially Senator having to spend most of a week, if not a full week, in Washington, D.C., while my family lived down in Florida, was very tough for me to stomach.

“Likewise, had I chosen to go the path of D0GE, which I thought was so cool because I knew they were going to do amazing things, it has blown me away.”

    Lara Tr::u::mp’s career to date

A graduate of North Carolina State University, Lara Tr::u::mp began her career as a producer for CBS’ Inside Edition.

Most recently, she served as the Republican National Committee’s co-chair, where she played a pivotal role in the re-election of President Donald Tr::u::mp.

She was also crucial in campaigning as Republicans regained control of the Senate and maintaining a House majority.

Lara was previously a senior adviser to the Tr::u::mp campaign during the 2020 presidential election and served as surrogate during his 2016 campaign.

In addition to her political career, Lara has hosted a web series entitled The Right View since 2020.

The series features a panel of conservative women dissecting the sociopolitical issues of the day.

Lara also served as an FNC contributor from 2021–2022, offering her take on headlines across daytime and primetime programming.

Another added family bonus of the Fox move? The Tr::u::mp family can also visit her on the show.

“I can assure you of two for sure who you will see,” she joked.

“One of them is Donald Tr::u::mp himself. He’s promised me. In fact, he said to me that if I want this show to be a success, I have to make sure I have him on. So I’ve gotten his buy-in.

“And I’m married to the other one who I can guarantee you will be on there, because he knows our marriage will depend on it. But he’s happy to do it.”

And of the show itself? Well, Lara promised she would be following in her father-in-law’s footsteps each week.

“It’s about more transparency, not less, which is following in the footsteps of Donald Tr::u::mp himself,” she told viewers.

“I don’t think that it’s necessarily that I’ll be reporting on breaking news in the moment unless something is pressing, of course.

“But it’s more about giving people a side of things that I don’t think you get in this kind of fast-paced, 24/7 news cycle that we’re in.

“This is a moment on Saturday nights to kind of slow down for an hour, really take it in, and get to know who a lot of these people are.

“And so that’s really the overall goal.”

My View with Lara Tr::u::mp premieres on February 22. The new program will air on Saturdays from 9-10 pm ET.

SH0CK – Fox News reporter nearly becomes SHARK BAIT, leaving viewers gasping!

    foxnews.com/video/631023...

You’ve seen us on screen, but have you ever wondered what we’re like off-camera?

For the last few months, I’ve enjoyed checking in with some of your favorite Fox personalities to learn more about who they are behind the scenes.

What’s the one thing Jesse Watters couldn’t live without? What’s Bill Hemmer’s favorite Halloween costume? And what’s sitting on Greg Gutfeld’s nightstand?

But that’s not all! The fun is just getting started.

This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Griff Jenkins. He is a Washington-based national correspondent for Fox News Channel and a co-anchor of “FOX News Live.” He joined the network in 2003 as a radio producer and associate producer for “War Stories with Oliver North.”

P.S. We have so much more in store for you. Stay tuned each week for new editions of “Short Questions with Dana Perino” — and if there’s a question you want answers to or a suggestion for the person I should interview next, leave a note in the comments section below.

Short Questions with Dana Perino featuring Griff Jenkins

In this week’s “Short questions with Dana Perino,” national correspondent Griff Jenkins reveals the most adventurous thing he’s ever done — and why he still chases “waves every chance I get today.” (Fox News)

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

GJ: Professional surfer or skateboarder! I’m the same age as Kelly Slater and Tony Hawk, the greatest surfer/skaters of all time. Both sports are mainstream today, but back in the ’80s as a kid, surfing and skating were just getting noticed – and I wanted to be a part of it.

I was watching at the dawn of two sports stars who were about to take on massive popularity growth and legendary status decades later. Hawk is retired now but still skates for special events, while Slater is perhaps on his last competition tour – competing as a 50-year-old against kids in their early 20s in a sport that has evolved enormously.

“I still chase waves every chance I get today and kick around on my skateboard from time to time.”

Suffice it to say, it wasn’t hard to realize back then that I didn’t have the talent to “go pro” – and I’m not sure even if I did that my parents would have let me – but I still chase waves every chance I get today and kick around on my skateboard from time to time.

And who knows … maybe there’s still time to make the Senior Citizens’ Tour!

Q: You’ve covered a number of big stories here at Fox. Which one stands out to you as your favorite assignment to date and why?

GJ: Wow – that’s a hard question. I am so grateful to Fox for giving me a front-row seat to history. Covering wars from the Iraq invasion to Ukraine. Covering four presidents and every election cycle since the early 2000s. Having been at every riot since the anti-Iraq war protests, Ferguson, BLM and Jan. 6.

Got soaked in the middle of every Cat 5 hurricane since Katrina (my first, btw!) and even got to travel to Colombia to document drug lord Pablo Escobar’s cocaine hippos, which are today an invasive species.

But I must admit that my favorite assignment to date has probably been covering the southern border. I’ve covered the border since 2010, traveled thousands of miles with multiple caravans from Honduras, Guatemala and the entirety of Mexico … Spent time in the dangerous Darien Gap in Panama and in shelters in every Mexican border town from Tijuana to Juarez, Piedras Negras to Matamoros.

And have spent much of the past few years in every U.S. border town from Texas to California.

Griff Jenkins: Chinese migrants raising 'concerns' for officialsVideo

What we are witnessing today is something never before seen on our southern border with unprecedented numbers coming from every corner of the planet.

And I think history will one day look back and see that it was one of the most impactful events of our time.

Q: Grad season is upon us. You have two college-aged daughters. Any advice you can share with parents who are about to send their kids off to college for the first time?

GJ: The most important advice is relax, take a chill pill and trust everything is going to work out.

It’s hard to overstate just how much more stressful the college application process has become since the days when I was going to college. It’s incredibly more competitive, with substantially more pressure on the kids today, and I think to the point of being almost unhealthy.

“You just have to give them support, love and help as much as you can.”

It’s excruciating watching your children going through such a stressful event.

I think at the end of the day, you just have to give them support, love and help as much as you can while giving them confidence that wherever they end up, it will be the best choice and their success will depend on what they make of the experience.

Q: Imagine I’m sending you on an epic all-American food road trip. Lobster rolls in Cape Cod, deep dish in Chicago, Gumbo in New Orleans — you get the picture. Which U.S. city do you think would steal the show and what iconic food would be its crowning glory?

GJ: No brainer, Dana! I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, just down the road from the Vergos family who started the World-Famous Rendezvous Rib joint.

Memphis is the crown jewel of BBQ. Every summer they hold the World Championship Barbecue Contest. Grillers from around the world descend on “Memphis in May” for an opportunity to take the covered blue ribbon – because it’s the Super Bowl of BBQ.

“Memphis may be known for the Blues and Elvis — but rest assured, it’s the ribs and brisket that will steal the show every time.”

It’s a week-long festival with music, beer and BBQ!

Memphis may be known for the Blues and Elvis — but rest assured, it’s the ribs and brisket that will steal the show every time.

Q: You are an avid surfer, something that’s not easy to learn. What has surfing taught you about life?

GJ: Surfing has taught me everything about life and helped give me a perspective to get through even the hardest challenges.

Surfing is incredibly difficult because it requires balance, strength and determination. It’s done in open ocean in conditions that only Mother Nature controls, with the wind and tide.

But with time, patience and a little luck, every person who’s ever experienced the magic of gliding down the face of a wave knows it’s a feeling unlike any other. And for that fleeting moment, every other care in the world subsides.

My motto in life has always been: Some days bring bad waves, some days bring no waves, but some days bring great waves … so learn to ride them as freely and fearlessly as you can.

Q: Aside from surfing, you stay active by running marathons, going to SoulCycle, etc. How important is fitness to your mental health and overall well-being?

GJ: It’s incredibly important. Nothing may be more important. I don’t think you can emphasize enough how much fitness impacts, and improves, our overall mental health and well-being.

“Even the least bit of physical activity can have a big impact on relieving the damage that stress does to us.”

We live in stressful times and doctors have long proven that even the least bit of physical activity can have a big impact on relieving the damage that stress does to us.

You don’t have to go out and run a marathon to get the benefits and results of exercise, when even a long walk or casual bike ride can go a long way to do our bodies good.

And as we get older, the saying holds true about our bodies: “Use it or lose it.” So my advice is: Get out there and join a gym, sign up for a SoulCycle class, buy a bike or a surfboard, or sign up for that first 5K race – I promise you won’t regret it!

Q: Washington, D.C., the heart of our nation’s history, is home to countless iconic monuments and museums. Each one tells a unique story about the fabric of America. What is your favorite national monument or museum to visit in D.C. and why?

GJ: It is now and has always been the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

From my earliest days, when I moved to D.C. in 1993, I have enjoyed sitting on the steps looking out at the magnificent view down the mall across the reflecting pool at the Washington Monument with the U.S. Capitol dome in the distance behind it – taking in the magnitude of history has transpired in this city, the seat of the greatest democracy ever born.

I still go there frequently, even recently to watch the eclipse, and it never gets old. It’s a breathtaking view – imagining what it was like to be there during MLK Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech and wondering what Mr. Lincoln might make of today’s challenges.

Q: What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

GJ: Oh, boy … a lot of options here as I think I may suffer from having more bravado than brains.

And I must confess that I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie who loves adventure.

Perhaps the most recent adventurous thing that I did was go swimming with a bunch of sharks four miles of the coast of Jupiter, Florida, in the open ocean – no cage, no protection – just free swimming with the ocean’s top predators and a GoPro camera in my hand.

You definitely get a rush when you have to reach out with your hand and “redirect” the head of an 8-foot bull shark that’s gotten interested in you.

“You definitely get a rush when you have to reach out with your hand and ‘redirect’ the head of an 8-foot bull shark.”

It was a few summers ago when there were a spate of shark attcks in the U.S. and I wanted to document for the channel whether these toothy creatures are misunderstood as man-eaters.

So I went out with a group called Shark Addicts that free dives with them – and got the trip of lifetime (and great video) being surrounded by dozens of the magnificent creatures.

Q: You’re often seen reporting live from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. If you could host a dinner party at the White House with any three former U.S. presidents, dead or alive, who would you invite?

GJ: Can I charm the maitre d’ for a fourth and fifth seat? The first two are easy: Lincoln and Washington.

I want to know everything about what it was like during our nation’s founding and where they found the incredible strength, courage and perseverance during those challenging times.

What led them to make the decisions that they made – and how does their vision for the country compare to what we have become today?

    Washington Lincoln

In my opinion, no two figures played a greater role in our democracy.

The third seat is tough to choose.

It would be between Jefferson, Roosevelt and Reagan. But I would probably go with Reagan so I could ask questions about the current events of my lifetime from when I was a child – and learn how he would handle the current challenges – particularly with the rise of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.

BTW, we would be serving Rendezvous Ribs flown in from Memphis for dinner, of course!

Q: What do you love most about working for Fox News?

GJ: The people! I don’t even have to think about it – it’s what makes this place special and run like a well-oiled machine. And I’ve never seen a more amazing, more dedicated and more caring group of individuals who have that family-first, in-it-to-win-it mentality.

We are the envy of the media world for our successes, but I think our secret sauce is in the men and women who walk through that front door every day willing to give it all and go the extra mile for their fellow co-workers to put the very best, compelling product out to our viewers every single day.

I also love the opportunity that exists here that you won’t find anywhere else. I came to Fox as an associate producer for “War Stories with Oliver North” some 24 years ago with no experience on-camera.

“I’ve never seen a more amazing, more dedicated and more caring group of individuals who have that family-first, in-it-to-win-it mentality.”

Suzanne Scott, Jay Wallace and all of our management team took chances on me, pushed me to my limits to grow and have made me the correspondent that I am today.

I would not be here answering these questions today if it weren’t for the amazing people who constantly believed in me, trusted me and gave me a shot at showing them I was worthy of their trust.

“I Want to Thank Dad in Heaven” – Fox News host Harris Faulkner opens up in her most personal project ever!

“I Want to Thank Dad in Heaven” – Fox News host Harris Faulkner opens up in her most personal project ever!

After nearly two decades with Fox News, Harris Faulkner is riding high as the host of two top-rated daytime television programs, Outnumbered and The Faulkner Focus. The best-selling author and Emmy-winning newscaster celebrated 10 years of hosting Outnumbered in April, but she refuses to slip into autopilot.

In recent weeks Faulkner, 58, released the new true-crime docuseries Surviving a Serial K1ll3r on Fox Nation, and on Thursday, May 16, she premiered her “most personal” project yet: a limited Fox Nation series called Footsteps of My Father, which sees her traverse the globe to better understand what her late father experienced more than a half-century ago as an Army combat pilot in the Vietnam War.

In a moment that is equal parts exciting and emotional, PEOPLE caught up with Faulkner to hear about her Outnumbered milestone, foray back into true-crime, and connection with her dad — and to get an update on how she’s preparing her teenage daughters for adulthood. Below, our conversation.

You have co-hosted Fox News’ daytime talk show Outnumbered since it launched 10 years ago. What has the show meant to you over the past decade, and what do you hope it’s able to do for viewers?

From the moment the studio doors opened for the first time, it was obvious to me that this would be a hit. I could just feel it. As the remaining original co-host and a co-creator of Outnumbered, my vision was and still is, to bring non-scripted, spicy discussion to an audience that appreciates the truth and good TV.

For 10 years my behind the scenes life on Outnumbered has been a delicious mix of motherhood; up and down with my weight; keeping up with the biggest breaking news, political elections and road trips gathering Americans‘ most important stories. And viewers show us every day that they enjoy being along for this joyous ride that rates like pancakes!

Bret Baier’s 16-Year-Old Son Paul Recovering After Emergency Open-Heart Surgery: ‘We Got Lucky’ (Exclusive)

Your upcoming special, Footsteps of My Father, was a very personal project, bringing you to the places where your father served in the Vietnam War. Did anything catch you off guard when you put yourself into his shoes?

This is the most personal I have ever been in front of the camera. Trekking my dad’s combat trail in Vietnam was almost too much for my heart to take at times. I carried his burial flag with me in my backpack. When I landed in Vietnam there was a rush of emotions. I missed my parents more than ever.

What I thought I knew about that wr and his involvement ended up being just a tiny snapshot of the realities of fighting in a wr that U.S. citizens would come to pr0test against. My father served two tours of duty in America’s mighty mission to preserve democracy in a faraway nation that was being swallowed up by the spread of communism. At home, our own nation was struggling with a violent rac1al d1vide. Yet, my father told his younger brothers and anyone who listened, “I chose to go fight for America because it was the best place on the planet to live. The U.S. Constitution clearly defines excellence and potential for America.” He added, “The Civil Rights struggle is American freedom on the move.” My father was a patriot.

Fox News’ Harris Faulkner Says Her Daughters Are ‘Example’ of What a Unified Society ‘Can Do’

In Vietnam, I met people old and young who shared that they now understand what America was trying to do. While I felt their kindness and openness to me and my Fox Nation team, they are a communist nation. In my special, you’ll see visible remnants and reinventions of that kind of government. And, you’ll actually hear my dad’s voice telling stories of his survival and near-misses in the wr . For my national bestselling book, 9 Rules of Engagement: A Military Brat’s Guide to Life and Success, my husband Tony Berlin interviewed my dad and saved those precious few recordings on his cell phone.

My dad d13d Christmas Day of 2020. He was dressed for the day, looking sharp and at peace. The Lord has him now. Vietnam reminded me of my faith and my singular purpose to live a life that will deliver me to heaven to thank Dad with renewed vigor and understanding, for his service of our great nation.

You also dipped your toes back into the true-crime genre recently with the docuseries Surviving a Serial K1ll3r, about 17-year-old Lisa McVey, who managed to escape her captor after 26 horrific hours and help authorities put an end to his criminal spree. What compelled you to spotlight McVey’s story 40 years later?

When a survivor talks, I listen. And Lisa McVey is unlike any survivor I’ve ever met. She faced r2pe, t0rture, d3ath all as a teenager and never gave up. The nightmare and details of what happened to her are bone chilling. And then to be able to help detectives track down the serial k1ll3r who once had her in his clutches is nothing short of a miracle. She’s a wr rior.

True crime has always been a captivating and important part of my career. When I was a primary prime-time anchor at WDAF-TV FOX4 in Kansas City, I had a series called Survivors Talk. Years later, I spent 29 days on the Caribbean island of Aruba as a correspondent for the national TV magazine A Current Affair. I was there on a different assignment which landed me smack in the middle of one of the most covered missing persons stories in world history. I arrived in the early moments after teenager Natalee Holloway vanished on Aruba. I actually happened to bump into her mother at a hotel check-in desk and she told me police could not find her daughter. That was wild ride. Beth Holloway is a special woman, a mom who will never give up looking for answers to what truly happened to her beloved Natalee.

On top of your career, you and your husband are raising two teenage daughters, who we’ve spoken to you about previously. How are you preparing them to stand on their own as they inch closer to adulthood?

It’s wonderful that Bella and Danika get to witness me living out my career dreams as a TV news anchor and host of two shows, a bestselling author and more. I teach them to pray for peace, strength and discernment. And to surround themselves with kind, creative and hardworking friends. And I remind them that dream chasing is hard work!
