Michael Strahan – former NFL legend and current TV personality – has landed a brand-new opportunity outside of Fox NFL Sunday. This fall, he will appear as a guest investor on Season 17 of ABC’s Shark Tank, joining an all-star lineup that includes Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, and more.
Strahan steps in following the exit of long-time Shark Mark Cuban, who will not return after an impressive 14-season run.
In addition to his sports background, Strahan brings strong entrepreneurial credentials. Since 2015, he’s run his own fashion label sold in major retailers like JCPenney and Men’s Wearhouse. He’s also co-founder of SMAC Entertainment, a brand with licensing deals with the NFL and NHL, and a business partnership with Fanatics.
The 52-year-old will remain a fixture on Fox NFL Sunday and continue to co-host Good Morning America. Now, fans will also see him on Wednesday nights in the competitive investment show Shark Tank. At a recent event, Strahan said: “I’m excited to help these dreamers turn bold ideas into real success.”
