Caitlin Clark NAMES the Toughest Opponent – But PROMISES Fever fans to DESTR0Y them on the court!

Caitlin Clark gets heated with WNBA ref | Fox NewsCaitlin Clark marked another career milestone on Tuesday in the Indiana Fever’s road game against the Connecticut Sun. This comes in the form of her first-ever game in Boston after the Sun decided to move the venue of Tuesday’s highly anticipated contest from their usual home base at Mohegan Sun Arena to the famed TD Garden.

WNBA teams have been constantly relocating venues when Clark and the Fever visit, in order to accommodate larger crowds. For Clark, however, this is her first opportunity to play in the same home court that the Boston Celtics call home.

Before the game, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year shared her thoughts on Tuesday’s milestone. Clark also revealed her honest opinion on the Celtics.

“Yeah, I mean, this is really, honestly, my first time to Boston. Obviously, if you’re a basketball fan, you grow up a fan, you love the Celtics. Well, maybe I guess you could hate them,” Clark said, which drew laughs from all around the room.

“But I think for myself, the Celtics is one of the premier organizations of the NBA. Like, you always grow up knowing what the Celtics are about, and obviously having won a championship two years ago now, it’s kind of cool to just be in this building and kind of surround yourself with the greatness that is played in this arena over the course of however many years.”

As Clark said, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics are just two years removed from winning a championship, which represents an NBA record 18 titles for the franchise. The Fever star is well aware of the history of this organization and this building, which is why she’s cherishing her first opportunity to play at TD Garden.

Clark then went on to discuss the support from the Boston faithful, even though the city does not have a WNBA team.

“I think it’s a great opportunity for people in this city or fans around the area to come and support a W team here,” she continued. “I know their game last year had great attendance and great energy, so I’m expecting the same tonight.

“But for myself, you don’t take these opportunities for granted. It’s always fun to go to a new arena in a new place and enjoy it, and I expect the same here tonight.”

At the end of the day, though, it’s still all about the win for Clark and the Fever. They blew out the Sun in their last meeting at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on June 17, 88-71, and they will be looking for a similar result on Tuesday.

Stephen Curry and brother Seth Curry SIDE BY SIDE? NBA about to Explode – Warriors confident they can BEΛT anyone!

As the Warriors continue to navigate a quiet offseason, a familiar name is emerging as a potential addition to their roster: Seth Curry. The 34-year-old sharpshooter is a free agent and remains unsigned, even as teams like the Knicks, Lakers and Warriors reportedly search for shooting help.

Golden State makes plenty of sense. The Warriors finished just 16th in the league in three-point shooting percentage last season, despite having arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history in Stephen Curry.

Adding Seth, who led the league in three-point percentage among players with at least 150 attempts last season at 45.6 percent, would give the Golden State a much-needed boost from deep. He also ranks second among active NBA players in career three-point shooting percentage at 43.29 percent, just ahead of his brother (43.32 percent).

Seth is well aware of the chatter. In a recent interview from the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf event, he smiled when asked about the possibility of teaming up with his brother.

“They play a good brand of basketball,” he said. “I feel like I’ve been a part of Dub Nation for a while, watching Steph and being around the organization… I’ve always embraced the Warriors and their system and love the way they play. And you never know what can happen.”

Doc Rivers, Seth’s father-in-law and coach of the Bucks, even told “The Bill Simmons Podcast” that Golden State would be “the perfect place” for him.

The Golden State Warriors could soon sign Stephen Curry’s brother, Seth, once RFA Jonathan Kuminga’s situation is resolved.

The Warriors are reportedly in wait mode as they assess restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga’s future. The 22-year-old forward has been involved in trade rumors, but there is growing speculation he could remain in Golden State. Once Kuminga’s situation is resolved, the Warriors could look to finalize their roster.

If Seth Curry is still on the market at that point, the reunion many fans have dreamed of might just become a reality.

NO GREATER SH0CK – NBA ROCKED by insider REVEAL: “LeBron James is Now a BURDEN for the Lakers”!

The Los Angeles Lakers have had an eventful offseason to say the least.

It started with the Buss family selling the majority ownership of the team to Mark Walter for an estimated $10 billion in June. The team then took a chance on former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, who had his contract bought out by the Portland Trail Blazers.

However, the headliner of the offseason has been the trade rumors centered around LeBron James, whose agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN that the two parties are at different stages in their timeline. The four-time MVP is looking to win now, while he views the Lakers offseason moves as being more geared toward the future.

While trades centered around James have been a popular topic, the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson flirted with the idea that the Heat could end up positioning themselves to sign Doncic next offseason. Doncic has a player option for the 2026-27 season, and it is unknown if he plans to opt in to it.

Jackson also broke down that Doncic’s availability could lead to the Heat exploring options to trade Andrew Wiggins, who was in the trade block over the past few weeks before the Heat decided to keep him.

“Heat intends to keep Wiggins at this time, as 3 of us writers have reported,” wrote Jackson. But if Luka shockingly rejects Lakers extension, I would be eager to try to trade him for expiring money to get closer to max space.”

Jackson later clarified that his posts were for “informational purposes,” but at the very least, it does show Heat fans that a move can be made.

Whether or not Doncic is actually interested in leaving the Lakers or signing with Miami is unknown, but if it does get to a point where it’s a possibility, expect for the Heat to do everything they can.

“TO THEM, I’M JUST A USED-UP ASSET”: Nadiya Hussain furiously CALLS OUT the BBC after being “Cut Off” – BUT NO ONE EXPECTED the BBC’S response to be EVEN MORE SH0CKING.

Bake Off star Nadiya Hussain has taken aim at the BBC after they axed her series of cookery shows – insisting ‘they’ll keep you until you’re of no use’.

The winner of the 2015 edition of the baking competition revealed last month that the broadcaster had decided not to renew her programme.

Nadiya, 40, later claimed she had been ‘treated unfairly’ by the BBC in a social media post as she lashed out over the cancellation.

The TV personality said: ‘I am allowed to feel angry when I’m treated unfairly.’

Nadiya has now spoken to Paul C Brunson on the We Need to Talk podcast, as she discussed what it means to be a Muslim woman in British media.

When asked if ‘speaking her truth’ was behind their decision not to renew her commitments with the BBC, she said: ‘I kind of accepted in my head that I was very BBC, I suppose it means that they’ve got me exactly where they want me, I’m utterly unbiased, ..

‘And just they’ve got me where they want me. Neutral. And I am not neutral. I have opinions and I have things to say.’

Giving her own view of what happened, she said: ‘They’ll keep you till you’re of no use to them. And I think that’s what happened.’

After winning the Great British Bake Off, Nadiya fronted several shows including  Nadiya’s Asian Odyssey, Nadiya’s Cook Once Eat Twice and Nadiya’s Time to Eat.

Nadiya claimed she was never given an exact reason as to why they couldn’t commission her show.

She continued: ‘It was interesting because my husband and I always spoke about it and he just said, there’s going to be a point where they’re not going to need you anymore. And the second you don’t fit the box, like they have a neat little box, when you don’t fit that box anymore, there’ll be no space for you.

‘And I suppose I don’t fit that space anymore. And to be fair, I’m not comfortable in boxes anyway. I prefer a glass ceilings to smash through, thank you very much.’

She said: ‘I was always made to feel like my trophy was just going to get taken away from me. Because as somebody, because I felt like I had to always be grateful. I had to be consistently grateful for the opportunity that I was given.

‘A Muslim that was relatable, like the People’s Muslim, the people’s person of colour, the digestible version of myself.

On what’s next for Nadiya, the TV chef said: ‘You know what, I think I’m going to be the truest, most honest version of myself, entirely unfiltered, with no management, nobody to tell me what I can do, can’t do, can say, can’t say.’

A BBC spokesperson said: ‘After several wonderful series we have made the difficult decision not to commission another cookery show with Nadiya Hussain at the moment.

‘Nadiya remains a much valued part of the BBC family, and we look forward to working together on future projects.’

Last month in a video uploaded to Instagram, Nadiya said: ‘I’ve received tonnes of messages since talking about my situation with the BBC. Messages from people telling me to be grateful for the opportunity and be thankful for how far I’ve come.

‘Now my whole life as a child in an immigrant household, I used to think I had to be grateful all the time because I watched my family always grateful, grateful for being let in, grateful for having work, even if underpaid, grateful for safety, even if it meant silence, always grateful.

‘Grateful even when I feel tired, lonely or disrespected. At first, gratitude felt right because it was instilled in me from a young age, it’s all I saw.

‘But after a while it starts to get really heavy. Gratitude became something that I was expected to wear like a uniform, anytime I voiced frustration or sadness or wanted more, I could feel the invisible pressure, like how dare you complain? Aren’t you just lucky to be here?’

She added: ‘But, here’s what I’ve come to understand. I’m allowed to feel more than just thankful. I am a human being and I am allowed to feel angry when I’m treated unfairly, I’m allowed to want better for myself and for my family.

‘I’m allowed to speak up, I’m allowed to exist, I’m allowed to exist fully complex, emotional, hopeful, sometimes critical, just like anyone else. So, gratitude has its place, but it shouldn’t be a muzzle. It shouldn’t be a muzzle like a dog.

‘We didn’t come here just to survive. We came here to live, to grow, to contribute, to belong. Not as a guest, but as a person who has rights and dreams and dignity just like everyone else.

‘So no, I won’t always be grateful and that doesn’t make me ungrateful, it makes me human.

‘So I’ve got here through hard work, through determination, through talent. So no, I won’t be grateful. I got here because I’m good at what I do. Just something to think about.’

It comes after Nadiya opened up about the ‘changes in her career’ in an Instagram post.

The chef told her 950k followers: ‘One huge change is that there will be no cookery show.

‘There will be no more cookery show. The BBC have decided that they didn’t want to commission the show.

‘And for me, that was a huge turning point for me because it’s something I’ve done for the past 10 years.

‘It was huge, I was already on this steady trajectory of change and I was thinking about where I wanted my career to go.

‘And when the BBC decided they didn’t want to commission the show anymore, it really did kind of solidify everything for me, and it made me dig my heels in and think ‘OK, I know where I want to be”.’

Speaking about her experience in the industry, she added: ‘And actually, it’s really difficult as a Muslim woman. I work in an industry tat doesn’t always support people like me or recognise my talent or my full potential.

‘And as a lot gaslighting and making you feel like what’s actually happening isn’t happening.

‘So for me it’s been a huge, huge, huge change for me. But it’s one that I am really excited about.

‘One that I want to move in a positive direction and ultimately I want to work with people who believe in voices of people like me.’

Nadiya has had a very successful career since winning GBBO 10 years ago.

Shortly after the show, she landed The Chronicles of Nadiya on BBC One. The same year she was a judge on Junior Bake Off.

The following year she presented an eight-part series called Nadiya’s British Food Adventure.

As well as her cooking series on the BBC, she’s appeared on The One Show as a reporter various times, as well as ITV’s Loose Women.

Some include Nadiya’s Kitchen, Nadiya’s Every Day Baking and Cook Once, Eat Twice.

She’s also written novels such as The Secret Lives of the Amir Sisters, Spreading my Wings and Today I’m Strong.

The former Love Island star, 34, who is a regular Loose Women panellist, is joining the This Morning team as a summer host in the coming weeks.

While she’s built a successful career fronting multiple ITV documentaries and reality shows, the news of Olivia’s new slot didn’t go down a hit with some fans.

Traditionalists went as far as threatening they’ll ‘definitely stop watching’ if Olivia joins the morning show.

But ITV’s golden girl Olivia has assured she is determined to succeed in the new gig and prove the haters wrong.

She exclusively told The Sun: ‘Those who know me understand the hard work I’ve put in to get where I am today.

‘I’m forever grateful to Love Island for being the springboard to my career, but I’m excited to show there’s so much more to me beyond the villa.

‘It’s been a lot of hard work, but I’ve always stayed focused on my goals and believed in myself and I’m very thankful for ITV in believing me.’

Other stars who are fronting This Morning this summer include Sian Welby, Dermot O’Leary, Emma Willis, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Joel Dommett, Craig Doyle, and Andi Peters.

Recently Olivia hit out at the ‘st1gma’ of being the partner of a successful sportsman, insisting she funds her own lavish lifestyle and has worked ‘relentlessly’ since being catapulted to fame when she left the Love Island villa in 2017.

She became a bona fide WAG when she tied the knot with footballer Bradley Dack in a lavish central London ceremony in the summer of 2023.

The TV personality dated Bradley, 31, prior to entering the ITV reality show and he was already a footballer playing for League Two team Gillingham FC.

Olivia slammed ‘g0ld d1gger’ claims and said it doesn’t matter what job her husband has because she works ‘seven days a week’.

She told MailOnline: ‘I think people are like, “She works seven days a week, surely she’s got some f*****g cash”.

‘Maybe in the beginning when Brad and I first started dating, there was a bit of a st1gma around it [dating someone who plays sport for a living].

‘And people can kind of go, “Oh”, a bit of an eye roll and stupid comments like, “Oh my gosh she’s with him cos he plays football”.

‘I’ve got my own money, so it doesn’t really matter what he does for a job.’

Straight-talking Olivia shot to fame thanks to her stint in the Love Island villa in the summer of 2017, which saw her reach the show final with her ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes, 32, who she dated until February 2018.

The former grid girl has since become a household name and a regular face on TV, appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, This Morning and Loose Women.

Olivia has also fronted many of her own shows and presented Bad Boyfriends, Getting Filthy Rich and The Price Of Perfection – admitting she has ‘bitten the hands off’ TV executives for ‘big jobs, little jobs, whatever I could get’.

But this success did not come overnight and she told how she ‘grafted’ when she left the villa while working relentlessly to get where she is today.

Olivia told MailOnline: ‘Post Love Island, I knew where I wanted to be. I knew I wanted to stay working in television, and I was very dedicated to that, and everything I’ve done is working towards that bigger goal.

‘I’ve been very patient and I’ve learnt the craft, I’m still learning, I’ve taken the big jobs, the little jobs, whatever I could get, I just bite their hand off for it.’

‘Even when you get a big platform like Love Island, you still need to prove yourself to people.

‘I think sometimes people become impatient off the back of reality shows, but these kind of things, they don’t happen overnight, you have to stick with it. It takes graft.’

Olivia has enjoyed the spoils of a lavish lifestyle thanks to her lucrative television career and is regularly seen toting around Chanel and Hermes handbags.

She has also enjoyed many luxurious trips throughout the years – in the last nine weeks she has been seen in France, Miami and Ibiza.

Adolescence star Owen Cooper has become one of the youngest Emmy Award nominees ever after the shortlist for this year’s awards was announced on Tuesday.

At just 15-years-old the Warrington school will be the youngest-ever male winner in the 76-year history of the ‘TV Oscars‘ if he scoops the accolade for his role in one of Netflix‘s most-watched series ever which has swept the board with 13 nominations.

Owen has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie category at the Primetime after he starred alongside his on screen dad Stephen Graham.

He will go up against his co-star Ashley Walters who has been nominated for his first Emmy in the same category after his role as DI Luke Bascombe.

In his very first acting job, Owen played Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old arrested by armed police on susp1cion of mrd3r, in the gripping series which had the nation talking earlier this year.

Meanwhile Scott Jacoby is the youngest male, making history when he bagged the Best Supporting Actor at 16 in 1973 for drama That Certain Summer.

The show is also nominated in the Best Limited or Anthology Series alongside Black Mirror, Dying for Sex, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and The Penguin.

MailOnline previously revealed that Adolescence star would be entered in the Best Supporting Actor category, as opposed to Best Actor, which experts hailed as a ‘genius move’ and said would massively boost his chances of winning.

Also in the category with Owen and Ashley is Javier Bardem, for his role in Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story, Bill Camp and Peter Sarsgaard, for their resepective roles in Presumed Innocent and Rob Delaney, for his role in Dying For Sex.

Speaking about his nomination, Ashley gushed: ‘This is such an honour. This nomination means the world to me — not just as recognition, but as a reminder of how far I’ve come.

‘It’s for everyone who stood by me through the highs and the lows, who believed in me when I needed it most.

‘It’s a testament to the power of perseverance. Dreams are important — but it’s the hard work, the setbacks, the growth, and the consistency that make them real.

‘Five years ago, this felt out of reach. Today, I’m incredibly proud — not just for myself, but to stand alongside a group of artists I admire deeply.

‘What we made together is something I’ll carry with me forever, and to see it acknowledged on this level is truly special.

‘Thank you to the Emmys for this nomination. To my wife and kids — thank you for grounding me and giving me purpose. To my family and friends, for being my foundation.

‘To my team, who’ve worked tirelessly behind the scenes. And to the entire cast and crew — thank you for your brilliance and your heart. This moment is for all of us.’

Owen, who hails from a proudly working class estate in central Warrington, was chosen from 500 candidates for the role of Jamie.

It was his first-ever acting job and no one in his family has a background in the industry.

He is being supported on his meteoric rise by dad Andy, an IT worker, and mum Noreen, a carer.

Speaking about the change in their lives, Noreen said: ‘It’s such a shock, but we’re getting on with it.’

He said: ‘Stephen Graham sent me a video yesterday and it’s Leonardo DiCaprio sat next to him and he was saying “Hey Owen, I’m such a big fan of Adolescene”.

    ‘And I was like “What!”‘

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede predicted Owen could follow in Timothée Chalamet’s footsteps and become ‘the toast of Hollywood’.

He told MailOnline: ‘The phenomenal success of Adolescence has taken the TV world by storm and critics have been raving about Owen’s stand-out performance.

‘The Hollywood elite love a rags-to-riches story and, at 15 and his first ever role, this young actor who was brought up in humble surroundings could soon become Hollywood’s hottest property and follow the path of many other child stars who have become household names, like Millie Bobby Brown or Timothee Chalamet.

‘I’m sure writers will already be presenting his agents with scripts and synopsis that will feature him.’

The Emmy awards ceremony will take place in LA on September 14.

OUTRAGEOUS PARADOX – Taylor Swift (though an American singer) wears the Union Jack in the US and gets Praised – BUT Courtney Wright, a 12-year-old British girl, dons a Union Jack dress right in the UK and is isolated by her school – leaving her father gobsmacked at WHAT’S GOING ON?

A school caused quite the debate this week when a ‘straight A’ student was put into isolation for wearing wearing a Union Jack dress for her school’s culture day.

Courtney Wright, 12, wore a Spice Girls-esque dress to celebrate being British and wrote a speech about history as part of the celebrations at Bilton School in Rugby, Warwickshire.

However, the Year 7 pupil was told the dress was ‘unacceptable’ and was made to sit in reception until her ‘gobsmacked’ father Stuart Field, 47, collected her.

Despite the stir, Union Jacks certainly quite the fashion statement in popular culture, with a whole host of celebrities rocking the flag over the years.

Some A-listers have gone down in the history books for rocking Union Jack outfits, with Geri Halliwell for one becoming synonymous with her flag-themed mini dress.

And she is certainly not the only one, with American celebrities even jumping on the trend to show off their love for British culture.

Despite the stir, Union Jacks have proved themselves to be quite the fashion statement, with a whole host of celebrities rocking the flag – none more famous than Geri Halliwell

    Geri Halliwell

Arguably the most famous Union Jack look, Geri, 52, stepped out at the 1997 BRIT Awards in a mini dress featuring the flag.

Joined by her Spice Girls bandmates Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton, Geri certainly attracted attention in the daring look.

Geri revealed the iconic look was actually created by her very own hand as she stitched a tea towel on the front of a 50s style Gucci black mini dress.

It has gone down in pop culture history and the look has inspired many party costumes in the years since, with everyone wanting to channel Geri’s look.

The unforgettable outfit even holds the Guinness World Record for the most expensive piece of pop star clothing sold at an auction – after nabbing £41,320 in 1998.

    Kate Moss

Supermodel Kate, 51, has sported Union Jack on many occasions over the years, serving endless ‘patriotic’ fashion moments.

Most recently, Kate wore a jacket featuring the flag to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022 – just months before Queen Elizabeth’s death in September of that year.

She wore the ensemble while joining Naomi Campbell, 52, on an open-top bus for the 1990s Times of Our Lives celebration, which rode down The Mall.

Kate wasn’t the only celebrity to jump on the trend for the Platinum Jubilee as Cliff Richard also sported a Union Jack blazer for the 2022 celebrations.

Fashion designer Jasmine Guinness also wore the flag while marking Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee ten years earlier in 2012.

It was not the first time Kate proudly sported the flag as she famously launched London Fashion Week in 1997 by wearing a Union Jack sweater.

In 2016, Kate also draped an actual Union Jack over her shoulders while posing for a Vogue photoshoot.

    Taylor Swift

Though she is American, Taylor, 35, has proved she is no stranger to a Union Jack and famously sported a head-to-toe Britannia ensemble on stage.

In 2013, Taylor kicked off her performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show wearing a Union flag-print mini-dress.

Her outfit was a surprising choice given the show took place in New York rather than London, but it has become one of her most memorable looks.

The Shake It Off hitmaker strutted her stuff in a blazer mini dress featuring the flag, which billowed out into a dramatic cape behind her.

She added to her look with matching peep-toe heels and a tiny top hat as she embraced all things British with the ensemble.

    Rita Ora

Following in Taylor’s footsteps, singer Rita, 34, also wore a flag-themed look while taking to the stage in New York just two years later.

Rita put on a very arty d1Splay as she stepped out in a distressed leather jacket painted with a Union Jack across it.

She made sure to turn heads as she performed at Fashion Rocks 2014 in Brooklyn, which was aptly presented by Three Lions Entertainment.

Around the same time, Rita also draped herself in an actual Union Flag in the music video for her 2015 track Body On Me.

In the video, she put on a r2cy d1splay as she wore little else while draped in the flag and danced along to her s3xy lyrics.

At the time, Rita described the music video as her ‘most int1mate’ one yet as she teased the cheeky scenes.

    Dua Lipa

Joining the long list of pop stars jumping on the Union Jack trend, Dua, 29, also rocked a 1960s style ensemble during her notable BRIT Awards performance.

The Levitating hitmaker took to the stage at the 2021 ceremony at the O2 Arena in a Union Jack blazer mini dress.

She then stripped off the coat to reveal she was wearing a matching Union Jack mini skirt underneath, which gave a ch33ky fl2sh of her th0ng and st0ckings.

The singer entertained fans as she ran through a medley of some of her biggest hits at the star-studded ceremony.

Dua’s choice of ensemble appeared to be a nod to Geri’s headline-making dress, which she wore at very the same awards show some 24 years earlier.

FOX News journalist Jacqui Heinrich has spilled the details about her surprise engagement to Pennsylvania Representative Brian Fitzpatrick.

The couple, who have a 15-year age gap, announced yesterday that they’re planning to tie the knot after a scenic proposal in a lavender field in France.

“The smell was just so fragrant. It’s a memory that will be seared into my brain for life,” she said of the day. “It’s hard to even put into words just how gorgeous it really was. It felt like a fairy tale.”

The Republican c0ngr3ssman, 51, popped the question after Heinrich, 36, had said in a previous Boston Globe interview that she wanted to travel to the French Riviera to see the iconic purple fields.

But plans were almost foiled after President Donald Tr::u::mp’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” proposal needed his vote in Washington, D.C.

Although Heinrich suggested they go another time due to the vote, Fitzpatrick was determined to get to the fields exactly at sunrise.

“All the time I’ve known this man, he has never been desperate to see a field of flowers at dawn.”

After news broke of the engagement, Heinrich responded on X.

“Fact check: true,” she wrote while linking to the People article that announced the proposal.

She finished the post with heart emojis.

Hundreds of commenters congratulated the couple.

“The cooking was the dealmaker. Congrats, Jacqui,” Joe Concha, a Fox News contributor, wrote.

Earlier this year, President Donald Tr::u::mp posted about the White House correspondent, calling her “absolutely terrible.”

“She should be working for CNN, not Fox,” he wrote to Truth Social in March. “Not surprisingly, I later found out that she’s a fan of the White House Correspondents Association!”

And Fitzpatrick was one of only two Republicans who voted against Tr::u::mp’s bill that his party strongly supported, alongside Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie.

“It was the Senate’s amendments to Medicaid, in addition to several other Senate provisions, that altered the analysis for our PA-1 community,” Fitzpatrick said in a statement.

“The original House language was written in a way that protected our community; the Senate amendments fell short of our standard. I believe in, and will always fight for, policies that are thoughtful, compassionate, and good for our community.

“It is this standard that will always guide my legislative decisions.”

The couple plan to host a joint housewarming and engagement party, and hope to have a Catholic Church ceremony for the big day.

Heinrich’s engagement ring, a round diamond solitaire on a gold band, was picked out by Fitzpatrick, who she said didn’t ask for help from anyone.

“I was really surprised he got it spot-on,” she said.

“What I could have asked for, dreamed up myself, he did without even asking.”
