“One of the best things about walking in @centralparknyc is you never know who you will run into. Great seeing @samchampion getting his steps in this afternoon,” wrote Roker next to an image of the two on Instagram.

In a follow-up video, he spoke further about their friendship while expressing that it was a “beautiful Thursday to be in Central Park.”

“Just ran into Sam Champion, of all people,” he said. “He and I both started in local news here in New York City about the same time. It’s good to see him.”

Staying healthy has been of even greater priority for Roker ever since being hospitalized for bl00d clots in November. He revealed the news in an Instagram post after having to miss his morning show duties.

“So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I’ve been. Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a bl00d clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs,” the post read.

“After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone,” the post continued.

Sam has been complaining about his legs hurting him throughout the early weeks of the reality show.

And just hours before Monday night’s live episode, Sam confessed during an Instagram live chat that his legs are feeling better, thanks to help from dance partner Cheryl Burke and her connections.

But the pain he’s been experiencing recently is still there.

“Physically, I wasn’t ready for any of this kind of activity,” he said. “My body had never been pushed in the way dancers pushed their bodies.”

“So, I had a lot of nerve pain yesterday and the day before. Had a lot of pain in my left leg, and that was kind of a brutal night to get through last night.

“That’s the first time that physically I felt beat up.”

Sam concluded: “There’s a lot of stretching, a lot of all of that happens. But boy, that was a tough night.”

Sam Champion Returns to Good Morning America

Champion left Good Morning America in December 2013 and joined The Weather Channel soon after. The show’s weekend meteorologist Ginger Zee replaced him as chief meteorologist. But on Thursday, some viewers were surprised to see Champion back on GMA reporting on the weather.

It turns out that Champion was filling in for Zee while she’s sick. She posted on Twitter Thursday morning that “rolling fevers have taken me out,” thanking Champion “for filling in today.” Zee added, “Hoping I’ll see you all back on @GMA soon.”

However, this isn’t the first time Champion has filled in for Zee over the years. He even filled in for her during her maternity leave. Champion left The Weather Channel in 2016 and is currently working at ABC7 in New York.

On Thursday, Champion posted photos to Instagram from the set of GMA, writing that his “heart is happy after spending the am with great friends!!” He tagged the show’s anchors Lara Spencer, Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos.

Last year, Champion appeared on Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. He was paired with longtime pro dancer Cheryl Burke. They ended up being eliminated in the fourth week of the competition, after dancing a Paso Doble to “The Greatest Show.”

After their elimination, Champion called Burke “the best there’s ever been” on DWTS, adding, “I can’t wait to just hang out with her now and not have to balance at the same time.”

Earlier this month, Champion took some time off from TV work, as he and his husband Rubem Robierb spent time in Brazil celebrating their 10th anniversary.

Robin Roberts and Amber Laign have perfected a growing trend among couples of leading perfectly healthy and romantic lives while living separately.

Robin, 64, and Amber, 50, have been together for nearly two decades, first getting set up on a blind date in the summer of 2005. They finally tied the knot in front of their loved ones in September 2023.

However, over the course of their romance, the couple haven’t actually lived together. Robin maintains a home for herself in New York City, a $2.5 million penthouse in Manhattan.

The couple have a home in Farmington, Connecticut which Robin purchased for just $410,000 back in 1994. Amber has her own Upper West Side apartment 10 minutes away from Robin’s, and the couple spend three nights apart each week. They also have a home in Key West, Florida, aka their “happy place.”

On the latest iteration of Good Morning America, the show presented a special report on couples who’ve spoken about living apart, led on by Sheryl Lee Ralph’s recent comments about being happy with her life given she and husband Vincent Hughes have their own homes.

After GMA3 anchor Eva Pilgrim shared her findings on the report, Robin pointed out that among the hosts, she and Amber were the only ones who were married and live separately, highlighting why it does work for them.

“It’s not for everyone,” she noted. “Amber and I [live separately], not by choice, but because of the work schedule. But there’s a lot of trust there. And there’s some people from my past I would not have done this with.”

“But she’s the one,” she sweetly concluded, giving enough of a pause for the rest of her co-anchors to interject, and George Stephanopoulos jokingly thanked her for ending on a “positive note.”

“Amber and I [live separately], not by choice, but because of the work schedule. But there’s a lot of trust there.”

Back in 2014, during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, Robin elucidated on that point further, although indicated that it was more of a decision of their choosing at the time due to Robin’s early morning wake up calls.

“Amber and I have been a loving couple for almost ten years now, but we choose not to live together. Maybe that’s why we’ve lasted almost a decade!” she told the host.

Robin and Amber got married at their Connecticut home, joined by many of the former’s co-workers at GMA and ABC News, including George, Michael Strahan, David Muir, Deborah Roberts and many more.

The pair retreat to their Farmington abode over the weekends after initially trying out living together during the early days of their relationship, which quickly fell apart because of the TV anchor’s 3:45 AM alarms.

They lived together in Connecticut during the first of the Cvd-19 induced lockdowns in 2020, which Robin described as “awesome” in a conversation with the New York Times, while also hosting GMA from her basement. “When I had to go back in September and Amber stayed at home in Connecticut, it was hard.” It was then they decided that it was time to walk down the aisle together.

The footage began with them walking arm-in-arm toward the town hall in Farmington, where Roberts owns a home.

When asked where they were going, Laign announced that they were getting their marriage license.

The massage therapist couldn’t hide her excitement as she gave an open-mouth smile right before they entered the office.

After confirming that their paperwork was filled out, the Farmington County Clerk’s Office employee had them raise their right hands.

‘Do you sincerely affirm and declare that the statements herein made are true?’ she asked, and they both said, ‘Yes.’

Roberts was the first to sign the paperwork followed by Laign.

‘I have to get used to signing Roberts,’ she said of taking her future wife’s name.

‘This is your marriage license. You’ll give this to the reverend at your wedding along with instructions in this envelope,’ the employee explained.

‘He’s going to fill out this section down here that says “officiator.” There are only a couple of spots for him to fill in. Then he’s going to return it to this office.

‘We’re going to get this. We’ll sign it, and we’ll add your socials. This paper stays in our vault forever and ever.’

Roberts said ‘everything was wonderful’ as they walked out, but she admitted they had an interesting interaction during the visit.

‘There was a gentleman who said there are three rings to marriage: the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffer-ring. That was nice to hear,’ she joked.

The couple obtained their marriage license just a few days after Laign celebrated her 49th birthday on September 5.

Roberts shared a sweet video of her fiancée making a wish before blowing out the candles on her cake.

‘Big week for Sweet Amber! Before we exchange our wedding vows later this week…tonight a special Birthday celebration,’ she captioned the footage.

‘There was a gentleman who said there are three rings to marriage: the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffer-ring. That was nice to hear,’ Roberts joked.

‘I liked the fact that she had no idea who I was. She rarely followed sports, so she never saw me on ESPN, and her office mates at the time watched a different morning show … ouch!’ she wrote.

‘She is extremely laid-back, no drama, no fuss,’ she added. ‘The main thing we have in common is positive energy. She sees the good in everyone.’

Roberts had Laign’s support when she fought and overcame an early form of breast cnc3r in 2007. Five years later, she was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a disease in which the bone marrow does not make enough healthy blood cells.

She underwent several sessions of chemotherapy, and on September 20, 2012, she had a bone marrow transplant from her sister, Sally-Ann Roberts, before returning to Good Morning America in February 2013.

The couple kept their relationship private until 2013, when Roberts came out for the first time in a Facebook post. She shared a list of all the people she was thankful for in honor of the year coming to an end and included her ‘longtime girlfriend, Amber.’

Nearly a decade later, their roles reversed and Roberts became the one caring for Laign as she fought breast cnc3r.

Roberts revealed Laign’s cnc3r diagnosis in a video shared on her social media accounts in February 2022, saying she would have to step away from the morning show ‘from time to time’ to be by her partner’s side while she underwent treatment.

‘My sweet Amber wanted me to tell you something that she’s been facing. At the end of [2021], Amber was diagnosed with breast cnc3r,’ she said.

The GMA star explained that Laign had surgery the month before and was starting chemotherapy that day.

‘Thankfully, the prognosis is good. And we’re so grateful to our family and close friends who have known this and have kept it private until Amber was ready to share it with others,’ she continued.

‘I’m just thankful that her spirits have been lifted,’ she said. ‘Recently it was a little tough there when — because she just wanted to get through it and to have this wrench thrown in our way — but I was able to tell her, as most people [who] have gone through cnc3r, this happens.’

Laign completed her radiation treatment in July 2022.

In January, Roberts revealed that she and Laign were getting married in 2023, a year after her partner’s breast cnc3r diagnosis.

She made the surprise announcement on GMA while interviewing author Gabby Bernstein about her book ‘Super Attractor: Methods for Manifesting a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams.’

Bernstein was sharing techniques for setting intentions in 2023 when she asked Roberts what she would ‘say yes’ to this year.

The flustered journalist admitted she was hesitant to answer because she hadn’t ‘said it out loud yet.’

‘I’m saying yes to marriage. We’re getting married this year,’ she finally shared. ‘It’s something we have talked about, but we had put it off. She became ill, and it is saying yes to that and that next chapter.’

Roberts appeared to surprise everyone, including herself, when she divulged their plans to tie the knot this year.

Who is Harris Faulkner’s husband, Tony Berlin?

Tony Berlin, a former journalist, runs his own company, Berlin Media Relations.

The company “focuses on securing top-tier national, key regional and local media placements as well as building brand awareness for clients,” according to its website.

“BMR is a direct connection to media and audiences that clients want to attract.”

Faulkner and Berlin once worked at competing television stations in Minneapolis, according to Amo Mama.

Berlin would later leave journalism and go into public relations work.

He grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and studied political science at Occidental College in Los Angeles.

He then became an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles before moving to Washington, D.C., for graduate school.

After graduating from American University with a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Journalism in 1993, Berlin worked as a television producer and news reporter in DC, Georgia, Virginia, and Ohio.

After marrying Faulkner in 2003, the duo moved to New York City in 2005, where Faulkner started her career at Fox News.

Before starting his own business, Berlin worked several different jobs in New York.

He was a Field Producer for WCBS TV Channel 2 News, a Media Relations Manager for Padilla Speer Beardsley, and the Director of Media Relations for Credit.com.

While he prefers to keep out of the public eye, he is rather active on social media, especially on his X, formerly Twitter, account.

Faulkner also often posts behind-the-scenes snaps of her husband and children on her own social media, including her Instagram.

    Do they have kids?

Tony Berlin and Harris Faulkner have been married for over two decades.

During that time, they welcomed two children together.

They’re the proud parents of Bella, born in 2010, and Danika, born in 2012.

“It’s beautiful for any parent to get the opportunity to have those loved ones in our lives,” Faulker told People in 2019.

“I’m with someone who is religiously Jewish and racially different from me,” she added.

“We look like a Benetton ad from the 1990s — very colorful.”

Faulkner often posts family photos on her Instagram, showing off both her husband and her children.

She posted a few candid snaps of the family celebrating Christmas together in 2023.

“Merry Christmas from my family to yours. There is POWER in the name of JESUS! #joytotheworld,” she captioned the post.

What is Harris Faulkner’s net worth?

Harris Faulkner has managed to amass a significant net worth for herself over the years.

With nearly four decades of experience as a journalist, reporter, newscaster, and TV host, Faulkner’s net worth is estimated to be around $8 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

This figure also doesn’t include her husband’s earnings from his media and PR firm.

Aside from her work as a reporter, the bulk of Faulkner’s net worth likely comes from her time at Fox News.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Faulkner rakes in around $3 million per year from Fox News.

While her salary has never been officially confirmed, the seven-figure sum makes sense given her involvement in some of the highest-rated and most-watched programming on the Fox News channel.

She recently celebrated 10 years as one of the hosts of Outnumbered.

Since 2021, she’s also anchored The Faulkner Focus, a daily daytime talk show, and has her own primetime p0l1tical franchise, Town Hall America with Harris Faulkner.

The Emmy Award-winning reporter’s net worth has also grown thanks to her writing skills.

Faulkner is the author of three books, including Breaking News: God Has A Plan – An Anchorwoman’s Journey Through Faith (1999), 9 Rules of Engagement – A Military Brat’s Guide to Life and Success (2018), and Faith Still Moves Mountains (2022).

Do Bret and Amy Baier have children?

The couple have two sons together, Daniel and Paul Francis Baier.

Their son Paul was born with cardiac problems and had open-heart surgery in 2008.

Since his initial open-heart surgery, the 15-year-old has gotten a total of four open-heart operations.

In a 2023 interview with the Daily Mail, Baier opened up about his son’s condition.

Baier said: “It turned out his heart was essentially pumping the wrong way. He had five significant heart defects, and if he didn’t get surgery in the first few days, he would die.

“So we went from the highest highs to the lowest lows in a really short time.”

He went on to reveal that despite Paul’s numerous surgeries, he seems to be nearing the end of this health battle.

“He’s now had four open heart surgeries, 10 angioplasties, and a stomach surgery. We spent a lot of time in the hospital. And he’s doing great. He’s now 6’3′. I look up to him, literally,” he continued.

“Hopefully that’s the end of heart surgeries and he’s very healthy.”

That same year, Baier told The Hill that he celebrated two years since his son had to undergo open heart surgery.

“He’ll have more procedures that are much less serious, but still serious.”

On April 29, 2024, Baier revealed on X that his son was cleared to return home after his fifth open heart surgery.

The tweet said, “Paul’s prognosis is great. Thank you all for the prayers & support.”

Baier opened up to People about what led to the emergency fifth surgery.

He revealed that his son had caught a cold in Florida, and the doctors chose to scan his chest out of an abundance of caution.

“The MRI comes back, and they sit me down and say, ‘This is a really big deal. This is an aneurysm the size of a golf ball that has formed off of his heart,’” Baier said.

“And they didn’t know whether it might burst, but if it did, it might have been fatal in a matter of minutes.”
