A “deliberate” act from Prince William proved there is no chance the Prince of Wales will reconcile with Prince Harry, a royal commentator has claimed. Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News Prince William won’t open the door to his brother in the near future and his participation at a polo match on Friday publicly proved that.
Mr Fitzwilliams said “the optics” of playing polo while the Duke of Sussex met King Charles at Highgrove “were deliberate”, adding: “[William] feels betrayed, because of Spare and the other interviews. Catherine [Princess of Wales] as well was openly supporting William. So that’s his view and it made it clear because polo at that time… It’s obvious. They haven’t spoken for years.”
Harry reunited with King Charles at the monarch’s private residence in Gloucestershire on July 10, while William was joined by Catherine for the DMMI Royal Charity Polo Cup at Windsor.
William and Harry have been estranged for several years after relations became strained, in part because of the Prince of Wales’s concerns at the speed of the Duke’s romance with Meghan Markle, but also due to bombshell revelations from the Sussexes in their Oprah Winfrey interview, Spare and Netflix series.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have further enraged fans after more “leaks” about their trip to the UK and meeting with the King and Queen last week emerged.
Just this week, “sources close to the Sussexes” spoke to Vanity Fair and shared a glimpse into the private meeting, saying it lasted for about “an hour” and that it was “completely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the King”.
Now, new reports have cited “well-placed sources” who have opened up about the Sussexes’ trip to Britain, as well as their private meeting with Their Majesties.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been criticised by fans after sources close to them gave an insight into their private meeting with the King and Queen last week.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met Charles and Camilla privately last Friday, during Harry’s five-day trip to Britain.
The meeting took place at the King’s private Highgrove House, and Buckingham Palace only confirmed it, without any additional comments.
But now “sources close to the Sussexes” have spoken to Hollywood bible Vanity Fair and shared a glimpse into the private meeting.
