GMA flooded with Tears – Robin Roberts “LEAVES” – 20 years full of memories!

ROBIN Roberts left GMA for an ‘incredible journey’ in another country as a second co-anchor is also missing from the morning show.

George Stephanopoulos was left to front the long-running ABC morning show without his usual co-hosts.

Robin, 64, has anchored Good Morning America since 2005 after her successful three-year stint as a news reporter.

However, she has taken a break from the program to celebrate a huge anniversary with Amber Laign.

She tied the knot with the massage therapist in 2023, but they have been together since 2005.

After two decades together, the pair jetted off to Rwanda to celebrate their huge milestone.

Robin has taken to her social media to give various behind-the-scenes sneak peeks about her meaningful trip.

She posted a snap of herself posing with her wife as they worked on an aid project.

The TV host wrote, “We’re in #Rwanda as guests of @inmuwetrust_ & @giantsofafrica celebrating young basketball players across Africa.

“Every last Saturday in the month in Rwanda is a national day of service!!

“Wonderful way for the two of us to celebrate 20 years as a couple…it certainly has been an adventure!”

Meanwhile, Amber also shared the same image and a video of her fellow charity colleagues singing in an uplifting chorus.

She wrote, “Robin and I celebrated our 20-year anniversary in a way we’ll never forget — in Rwanda, with Giants of Africa, surrounded by the energy, joy, and spirit of youth from 20 African countries.

“From dancing to community service that touched our hearts, this experience reminded us what truly matters: connection, purpose, and giving back.

She added, “We’re beyond grateful to have shared this milestone in such a powerful and uplifting way.

“Thank you, Giants of Africa, for letting us be part of something so meaningful.”

Good Morning America airs on ABC from 7-9am EST, Monday through Friday. The show has a panel of anchors who discuss the week’s events and current news. The anchors who appear on the morning show include:

Ginger Zee
Lara Spencer

Michael Strahan was also missing from GMA, but he hasn’t posted why he took the day off.

Last week, George was replaced by first-timer Joe Buck.

The ESPN host said, “I’ll try not to drive the ratings into the ground” while taking over from the iconic host.
