Anne Hegerty stunned the Loose Women panel on Tuesday with an outrageous pick-up line for The Chase contestants she fancies – teasing a romp on the ITV set.
The quiz show star, 67, joined Christine Lampard, Kelle Bryan, Janet Street-Porter and Gloria Hunninford on the panel, where talk quickly turned to her bold new streak on the hit game show.
The panellists observed that over the years Anne has become noticeably more flirty with contestants, letting her personality shine.
And the Governess delivered a shocking quip that sent the audience and her fellow panellists into hysterics.
She declared: ‘There are times when I’m tempted to say, “have that boy washed and brought to my dressing room.”‘
After the shock in the studio had died down, host Christine went on to ask how much she and her fellow Chasers secretly want contestants to beat them, prompting Anne to reply with a straight face: ‘Our job is to save the money, it’s not my job to go giving away ITV’s money.’

But the outrageous exchange wasn’t the only talking point on Tuesday’s edition of the long-running daytime show.
The panel also reacted to Serena Williams’s candid admission that she has been using weight-loss injections after struggling to shed pounds following two pregnancies.
While some of the women praised the tennis legend’s openness, Janet Street-Porter offered a characteristically no-nonsense take.
‘I feel a little bit disappointed,’ the 78-year-old said. ‘Of course she’s entitled to do it, her husband is on the board of the company that makes it.
‘But you’re a role model, there are so many people looking up to you, you stand for so much.
‘Jabs are a quick fix solution, and what’s bothering me really are the number of people who are abusing these jabs. I think it’s not a good look for her.’
The conversation later turned to nightmare honeymoons, with Janet revealing her own eye-opening experience.
The outspoken panellist admitted that after one of her weddings, she found herself washing the floor and thinking: ‘I’m not cut out for this.”

She declared: ‘There are times when I’m tempted to say, “have that boy washed and brought to my dressing room.”‘
She confessed that the marriage lasted just 48 hours, telling her then-husband: ‘I’d rather be your friend than your wife.’
But despite the split, she revealed their friendship endured, and even said she adored his next wife – going so far as to speak on her behalf at their wedding.
Elsewhere, the women clashed during a discussion on Reform UK leader Nigel Farage’s controversial stance on immigration.
Kelle Bryan voiced her concerns that Farage was ‘stoking up the people who have racist views.’
Gloria Hunniford responded: ‘It’s what a lot of people want to hear though.’
The remark left Kelle visibly shaken. ‘Glo, I find that quite difficult to take on board,’ she said, before sharing her lived experiences of racism and her fears of history repeating itself.
‘We did this in the 70s, we did this in the 80s and here we are doing it in 2025, enough’s enough. I have to raise my children in an environment I don’t feel very comfortable in.’
