BREAKING NEWS: Meghan Markle slammed for ‘dodging’ simple question

Meghan Markle was criticised for “dodging” a very simple question during her latest appearance on MasterChef Australia. The Duchess of Sussex appeared as a guest judge on the Australian cooking show on Sunday for an immunity challenge ahead of the semi-final.
Contestants were challenged to transform a staple ingredient into a dish “fit for a duchess”. The ingredients available included carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons and apples, mandarins and strawberries. Meghan appeared alongside MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

However, when she was asked which of her favourite meals to cook at home was, she appeared to struggle to find an answer.
Chef Novelli asked Meghan: “Can I ask you please, Meghan, what is your favourite dish to cook for the family?”
Meghan did not name a single meal, saying it was a “tough question” because she has a “lot of palates to appease”.

She said: “It’s a tough one. It’s a tough one because I have a lot of palates to appease.
“My husband, being from the UK, loves a lot of meat, potatoes, cream sauce.
“California girl, I like grilled fish, grilled meats, lots of citrus. I just like using really pure, natural herbs and spices, you know, again, if you can pull fresh ‘ erbs like, do you say ‘ erbs or herbs here?”

Broadcaster Dan Wootton appeared on the Megyn Kelly Show and the journalists had things to say about the duchess.
Ms Kelly, who is a mother of three, said: “It’s weird. I don’t cook, but I’ve got my five go-tos as a mother of three children that, you know, I will cook.
“If you ask me that, my answer would be lasagna. Everybody loves it, I’ve learned how to cook it. It’s a crowd pleaser.
“Why, why can’t she name the favourite meal?”
The US journalist added: “‘I’ve got a lot of palates to appease. So does every mother on Earth. What are you saying? Of course, obviously, you have more than one child, you do, but somehow we manage to find an option, and most mothers, or fathers if they’re the family cook, would have it at the ready.”
Ms Wooton then joked: “She doesn’t cook!”
The clip was shared on social media, with several fans agreeing and one user writing on TikTok: “She definitely doesn’t cook!!!”
Another one said: “She just can’t answer a question.”
A third one opined: “She never answers any question she always yup yup yup around it till you forgot that a question was asked.”
A fourth one commented: “Markle does not cook, she could not answer the question.”
A fifth one blasted: “She never cooks. It’s obvious.”
In the show, Meghan also revealed that her daughter, Princess Lilibet, enjoys eating Brussels sprouts, as does Prince Archie.
She says: “My kids eat Brussels sprouts” before another person can be heard exclaiming, “That’s impressive!”
