Eamonn Holmes’ UNTHINKABLE Move in Front of Ruth Langsford’s Ailing Mum Leaves Fans REELING!

Eamonn Holmes publicly supported Ruth Langsford last night (December 16), seven months after they announced their shock decision to split.

The Loose Women panelist, 64, recently shared that her 93-year-old mum, Joan, had suffered a fall and fractured her pelvis. Ruth’s sad family update came after rumours that Eamonn was engaged were shut down by his rep.

And, after denying reports he was engaged to girlfriend Katie, Eamonn reached out to Ruth.

Months after announcing their plans to divorce, Eamonn sent his support to Ruth as he liked her update about her mother’s hospitalisation.

The television presenter is among thousands of fans supporting Ruth as she prays for her mum’s speedy recovery.

The Loose Women star wrote: “Hospital visit….thank you all so much for your lovely messages and well wishes for my darling Mum. She’ll be in hospital for a bit longer yet, but she’s in pretty good spirits considering and I hope she’ll be home for Christmas.”

Ruth and Eamonn were married for 14 years and share a 22-year-old son, Jack. Their separation gathered a lot of attention, with Ruth reportedly hiring a “fierce” divorce lawyer while Eamonn was caught up in a “new romance”.

Ruth’s sadness for her ‘darling mum’

Earlier this month, the Loose Woman presenter recently revealed her mum had fallen and hurt her pelvis.

“No dancing in my kitchen peeling the veg for my darling Mum this Christmas…. She’s had a fall and fractured her pelvis!” she wrote. The TV star said her mum didn’t need any surgery. But she was advised to get plenty of rest.

Ruth shared: “She’s in hospital at the moment but I’m hoping to get her home soon. This time last year she fell and broke her hip but recovered well. She’s a very strong woman so I’m sure she’ll recover from this too. Put life and what’s important into perspective eh? Happy Christmas!”

Last night’s post revealed that Joan will be in the hospital for a “bit longer yet, but she’s in pretty good spirits”.
