Jalyx Hunt’s Super Bowl 59 victory with the Philadelphia Eagles was inches away from costing him financially and potentially some game action.
Hunt’s 2024 rookie season ended on the perfect note, with the Eagles defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59. The Eagles defense led the way, sacking Patrick Mahomes six times while forcing three turnovers (two picks and a strip sack) in the lopsided defeat.
But Jalyx Hunt was also mere inches away from being fined and potentially suspended in what could have been an all-time Super Bowl blooper.
An overhead video angle has emerged of Josh Sweat’s sack on Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter. As you can see right after the play, a fired-up Jalyx Hunt almost accidentally punched the daylights out of a referee during his celebration:

Even though it clearly wasn’t on purpose, Hunt was lucky to have avoided a potential personal foul penalty and/or game ejection. There will obviously be no fine or suspension, either.
As if working the Super Bowl in front of hundreds of millions of viewers wasn’t stressful enough, the ref almost got knocked right out during the game. Talk about a high-stress occupation.

Jalyx Hunt Shined In The Biggest Game Of His Life
Unlike postal service workers, Jalyx Hunt had to work and deliver on Sunday. The rookie was up for the challenge against Mahomes and the vaunted KC offense, recording half a sack and a quarterback hit in the Eagles’ victory.
Hair Loss Specialist Reveals The Truth About Travis Kelce’s Hair Transplant Rumors After Everyone Noticed Something Fishy During Super Bowl

A hair loss specialist has provided clarity on fan inquiries about Travis Kelce’s hair.
If you do a simple “Travis Kelce hair” X/Twitter search, you’ll come across fans wondering if he got a hair transplant. The future Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl champion donned more hair than usual for Super Bowl 59 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
But hair loss specialist and aesthetician Dr Gizem Seymenoglu, who works at Longevita’s clinic in London, United Kingdom, opines that the 35-year-old Travis Kelce did not actually get a hair transplant.
Dr. Seymenoglu noted that Kelce usually sports a buzzcut, which is why his hair looks awfully different now. She warned, however, that Travis could experience hair loss in the future, citing “noticeable hair loss” for that his father Ed and brother Jason Kelce.
“It seems highly unlikely that Travis had any kind of a hair transplant. That’s because he really doesn’t seem to need one — at least not at the moment. Over the years, his hairline has only imperceptibly receded, which can be explained by the maturation of the hairline caused by ageing. There are absolutely no visible signs of hair loss. Since Travis is often seen with a buzzcut, now that he has grown his hair out longer than before, it makes his hair look fuller and, therefore, different.”

Regardless, Kelce is more focused on the Chiefs’ heartbreaking Super Bowl loss than fan speculation about his hair. Kelce had just four catches for 39 yards in the loss to Philly, who denied Kansas City’s bid for a three-peat.
Travis Kelce May Have Played His Final NFL Game
Before Super Bowl 59, it was reported that Kelce had yet to make a decision on his playing future. Kelce showed signs of decline (97 catches for 823 yards and three touchdowns) in the regular season, so he could accept he’s past his best-before date and walk away now.
But a fiery competitor like Kelce may not want his career to end with a humiliating Super Bowl loss, either. So don’t be surprised if he decides to come back for another shot at a fourth ring.
