Tommy Fury REVEALS what Molly Mae really thinks about ‘CHEATING’ in furious statement

Tommy Fury has opened up about the real reason he split up with Molly-Mae Hague as he rubbished claims he cheated on his fiancée.

The Love Island star, 25, and his ex-fiancée Molly, also 25, met each other on the ITV2 show in 2019 and went on to buy a home, welcome a child, and get engaged. However, in a statement shared on social media over the summer, the former couple announced the shocking news they parted ways.

Since their split, there had been rumours that boxer and TV personality Tommy was unfaithful to his fiancée during his trips away from home. The boxer vehemently denied ever cheating on her, revealing he was “horrified by the false allegations”. It’s been months since they broke up and Tommy finally revealed the real reason behind it – alcohol addiction.

He also slammed the rumours of infidelity, calling it ‘utter b*****ks’. In a new interview, he said: “All I’ve been seeing for the past six months is ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter bollocks. We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore.”

The boxer, who cleared up the rumours ahead of the release of Molly-Mae’s Behind It All documentary, said he ‘received so much hate’ over the break up and was upset that not a single person wondered if he was ‘going through a bad spot’. He explained to Men’s Health: “Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing.”

Tommy then explained to the publication how his issues with drinking started after he broke the ligaments in his hand in 2019, which eventually led to reconstructive surgery at the start of last year. He admits his “mental health was in the pan” after the operation and he felt a part of his identity was removed when he could no longer box or train.

He previously shut down the cheating rumours during a conversation with Mail Online. When asked whether or not he’d ever cheated on Molly, Tommy gave the following firm reply: “Absolutely not. I think if you were going to cheat on someone you should just sit down and say, ‘I don’t love you any more,’ clearly because you want to go and pursue other people.

“When you get to that stage, you should just call it a day. If you want to go out there and have affairs with women then you definitely shouldn’t be with your partner. Definitely not. And have I ever reached that point? No.”
