Ben Shephard fans have questioned why he was snubbed from Good Morning Britain’s anniversary post after they celebrated 10 years on screen yesterday. On Instagram, the show shared various snaps of its presenters alongside the caption: “10 years have flown by! Let’s look back at some of our presenters through the years.”
Those included in the post are; Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Sean Fletcher, Charlotte Hawkins, Richard Madeley, Ranvir Singh, Laura Tobin, Martin Lewis, Richard Arnold and Adil Ray. Noticeably absent from the post was the likes of Ed Balls, Robert Rinder, and former presenters Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
Ben, 49, made the move from Good Morning Britain to This Morning in March with his new co-star Cat Deeley, after 10 years on the show. Having only been gone for a few weeks, fans questioned why Ben was left out of the post.
One wrote: “Why is Piers and Ben not there? Also Ed Balls. Judge Rinder, they,ve all been presenters at one point.” A second added: “Piers???? Judge Rinder, Ed Balls, Ben all missing – pics to follow perhaps?”
A third echoed: “Where’s the pic of Ben Sheppard and Ed balls and Piers Morgan.”(sic) Another raged: “Ben Shepherd!!!!!! WHO WAS ACTUALLY THE PRESENTER ON THE 1ST DAY. Absolute joke and No Piers Morgan also.”(sic)

A fifth added: “As if you’ve missed Piers and Ben off.”
While Ben and some of his former co-stars were left out of the photo-based post, they were included in a reel the show shared of its greatest moments shortly after.
Captioning the post, the programme wrote: “How do you fit 10 years into 90 seconds! #10yearsofgmb.”
Despite not being included in GMB’s first post, Ben seemingly took no issue as he paid tribute to the show on his page.
After catching up with Susanna and Richard on This Morning, Ben shared various pictures from their reunion in view of his 580,000 followers.
He captioned the post: “So this was really blooming lovely! Happy 10th Birthday @gmb. It was so great to catch up with @susannareid100 and get the @thismorning OG @richardmadeleyofficial back in the studio with me and @catdeeley.
“It’s been a roller coaster 10years since we launched @gmb but I feel very lucky to have been a part of that journey, and to be able to share a new chapter with @catdeeley.”
Ben hosted his final Good Morning Britain on February 23 alongside long-term co-star Kate Garraway.
Issuing an emotional speech surrounded by his co-stars, he said: “I wouldn’t be able to do this if you lot weren’t amazing and hadn’t been such fabulous friends and brilliant colleagues.
“The team behind the cameras and everybody, thank you to them.
“And thank you to the viewers as well for trusting me to wake you up in the morning with this amazing team. Thank you, thank you for making this so special.”
