Meghan Markle is angry following a recent move by Prince William and Kate Middleton, according to sources who have claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales wielded considerable sway over King Charles prior to his unexpected announcement last week.
The British monarch released a letter notifying officials that Prince Harry and Meghan should be regarded as private individuals when they return to the UK, a decision that allegedly caught the Duke and Duchess of Sussex off guard.
Reports indicate that Harry and Meghan have been stunned by the frosty welcome they’ve encountered from the Royal Family in recent weeks following their return. Now, Meghan is said to be “furious” about William and Kate’s role in influencing the King’s choice to release the statement regarding her and Harry’s standing. This follows claims that Harry and Meghan were informed about the statement only shortly before its public release.
“The Waleses have felt totally blindsided by the way Harry and Meghan announced their arrival back to the UK, and, with everything that’s happened over the last few years, they just don’t trust them,” the source said. “There is nothing new in the statement, but William felt it was necessary to remind them where the lines are drawn before anything happens.”

Sources suggest Meghan is “furious” and has “no intention of allowing the Palace to push her aside or treat her as though she is no longer important, especially by William and Kate.”
The bond between Harry and William has been virtually nonexistent for years, with the brothers having had no contact for an extended period.
Prince William allegedly has no plans to meet with Harry, though some insiders indicate he might not have an option. A source informed royal expert Duncan Larcombe that William is “extremely concerned” about what Harry’s return means for the Royal Family, and may feel he has “no choice” but to come face-to-face with his younger brother.
Larcombe learned from sources that William feels he has been “pushed into a corner” and now finds himself in a situation where he must invite his brother to discuss future arrangements.
This follows earlier reports indicating that William was categorically refusing to reconcile with Harry upon his return to the UK. In fact, certain sources have claimed that William even threatened to skip some events due to the possibility of Harry and Meghan receiving invitations.
