It has already been revealed that the launch show of the 2026 series will air on September 19, which is when the 15 new celebrity contestants will be paired with their professional dance partner for the first time.

Recently, five new professional dancers were revealed to join the show this year. They are Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita. They will make their debut participating in the opening routine, along with the 14 returning professionals.

This week, the launch show was pre-recorded, and while the pros and the new stars have been teasing what’s ahead, it was Amy’s video which may have captured fans’ attention as she shared her excitement after being voted out early in last year’s competition alongside former The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner.

Speaking in a video from her bed, which she posted to her Instagram Story, she said: “I really should be sleeping right now and my Oura ring, this is not an ad and it’s not gifted or anything, but it’s screaming at me because I’m already in six-and-a-half hours sleep debt, it’s telling me. But, I’m just so excited.

“I can’t sleep. My mind is in overdrive with choreography, ideas, excitement! Literally, I probably had three hours sleep last night but I’m just so excited. I can’t even… I can’t wait for you guys to find out. My mind is just in overdrive. I know my body need sleep, but I just can’t switch off. I’ve been in this bed for hours and I still can’t sleep. Yesterday [the launch recording] was just amazing.”
