LSU quarterback Colin Hurley was hospitalized after an early morning car crash on Thursday, and things were bad almost immediately following the incident.
According to WBRZ, Hurley was driving a Dodge Charger that crashed into a tree on the south edge of LSU’s campus. EMS would soon find him, but he was unresponsive. However, he was breathing.
A crash report revealed that firefighters had to pull the young QB out of his vehicle as he went in and out of consciousness.
EMS and fire department personnel took Hurley out of his Dodge Charger and transported him to a Baton Rouge area hospital.
ESPN reported that Colin Hurley crashed his Dodge Charger into a tree around 3 a.m. local time.
Hours after the announcement of his wreck, a picture would surface online allegedly showing Hurley in a bar.
The post has since been deleted, but not before we were able to capture a screenshot of it:

Someone in the comments section has since noted that “impairment was not suspected” in the crash, according to officials.
The location was tagged as Murphys on West Chimes in Baton Rouge, LA.
This past season, he did not appear in a game behind Garrett Nussmeier and Michael Van Buren. There is no word on if he had a shot to take the field during the 2025 season.
Colin Hurley Committed To LSU At A Young Age
LSU freshman quarterback Colin Hurley remains hospitalized following an on-campus car accident.
Hurley, who just wrapped up his true freshman campaign for the Tigers after taking a redshirt year, was found unresponsive.
Fans must remember that Hurley is young.
Hurley is 17 years old but still part of an SEC football powerhouse. He committed to the program at the age of 16. He is just one of a handful of minors playing major college football this season.
