WHY did Richard Madeley decide to ‘Say Yes’ to Good Morning Britain, but NOT replace Piers Morgan? Could it be because of Judy Finnigan?
Richard Madeley confirmed he has accepted a job at Good Morning Britain as a permanent presenter on the programme in rotation.

The daytime TV star, 65, confirmed on Wednesday’s morning show he would be appearing on GMB sometimes, filling a rotation slot with other presenters.
He told viewers on GMB: “I’m doing the show down the line along with other people.”
However, his rep denied reports the presenter will be “replacing” Piers Morgan who quit in March following his reaction to Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The rep said: “Richard is part of a revolving family of presenters and there are no plans to change that.”
ITV had previously shared their plans to rotate stars instead of fill Mr Morgan’s former position with one famous face.
Mr Madeley has regularly appeared on the ITV show as a guest presenter alongside Susanna Reid, 50.
The TV personality will take up the position after appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! which begins on November 21.
It follows a summer trial period after it was reported in April that Richard was tipped to replace Piers as GMB’s host.
He was reportedly offered a full-time contract after meetings with ITV bosses and a heart to heart with his wife Judy, according to The Sun.
A source told the newspaper: “Richard has always maintained he would never do GMB full-time as he loves his life as it is.

“But as the weeks have gone by, and he’s proven a constant hit with viewers, he’s really got into his stride and has been enjoying it more and more.
“He polls really well with fans and ratings have steadily been on the rise again over the past six months. After a couple of meetings with ITV bosses, he was offered a full-time contract. And after consulting with his family, especially wife Judy, he decided ‘sod it’ – and to go for it.”
It will come as no surprise to GMB viewers who saw more of the presenter after a sudden exit from Piers who wrote in the Mail on Sunday that he was given an ultimatum to apologise for his comments about Meghan or to quit the show.
