BREAKING NEWS: Roy Keane leaves ITV studio in hysterics after World Cup final half-time show

ROY KEANE stunned his fellow ITV pundits when he made a cheeky comment on the World Cup final’s half-time show.

Shakira and Madonna headlined the money-spinning performance midway through Spain’s showdown with Argentina – which also featured a bizarre appearance from Ronaldinho and Ronaldo.

And Keane, 54, watched the mini concert unfold from ITV’s stunning rooftop studio next to the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Manchester United legend had his colleagues in hysterics when he was asked for his view on the half-time show.

Keane said: “It was a bit of an anti-climax, but I think the people in the stadium probably enjoyed it more than us. But it’s always nice to see Shakira.”

Fellow pundits Gary Neville and Ian Wright, along with host Mark Pougatch, then burst into laughter following the shock comment.

Fans also rushed onto social media after hearing Keane’s review of the half-time show.

One said: “Roy Keane over on ITV was delighted to see Shakira.”

Another added: “Game’s gone.”

A third chimed in: “What did I just hear Roy Keane say?”

Wright admitted he was unimpressed with Justin Bieber’s brief performance during the half-time show.

The former Arsenal striker said: “I felt like maybe he should have been a little bit more upbeat and livened us up a bit. It felt a bit down.”

But Keane’s ex-Manchester United team-mate Neville was a fan of the extravaganza.

He said: “I quite enjoyed it. Let’s hope the second half picks up and there’s loads of energy.”

Wayne Rooney did not share Neville’s view and gave a brutal verdict while he was on punditry duties for the BBC.

The former England skipper said: “I like a lot of them artists, but I thought it was crap.”
